I don't know if it happens to anyone what happens to me, I can't get rid of things that are coming home by different means. What I mean by this. Almost everything that comes home is considered as possible material to elaborate some project and in the last days I got some bags made with surgical fabric and I was waiting for the occasion to use it as material. | Feliz lunes de aguja para todos. No sé si a alguien le pasa lo que a mí, no puedo deshacerme de cosas que van llegando a casa por diferentes medios. A qué me refiero con esto. Casi todo lo que me llega a casa es considerado como posible material para elaborar algún proyecto y en días pasados me dieron unas bolsas hechas con tela quirúrgica y estaba esperando la ocasión para usarla como material. |
It occurred to me that I could make a bow for Rafaella. I always say that when it comes to little girls you can never have too many accessories. I chose an old bow tie that had a pretty butterfly with mini crystals on it, it was time to put it to a new use. I detached the webbing that covers the hook because I would also be using it for this project. Using the tape measurement, I cut out a strip of brown surgical drape to cover the hook and adhered it with cold silicone. | Se me ocurrió que podía hacer un moño para Rafaella. I cut out a rectangle about 6 inches long and gave it a slight oval shape at the ends. Then I made a simple seam joining both ends and placing the middle. We move on to weaving the center flower. I chose brown because I find it beautiful with the turquoise of the fabric. We make a magic ring on which we have 12 low stitches and we close it with a slip stitch. The next round we work over each petal with a single crochet, two medium high stitches, a picot stitch, two medium high stitches, a single crochet and a slip stitch. Woww, can I please see the bag? I bet it would come out as nice as the hair bun you made. The hair bun is beautiful 😍😍and the combination of the surgical fabric and crochet wool is super cool.
They are common bags, when you buy something, instead of using plastic bags, some establishments give these bags that we can reuse. Thank you for your kind comment.
