As the days go by, we also do a lot of things, in between sewing; every day I am making and making some garments, some easier than others, but I do them without many complications.
I don't always commit myself to do something that I can't, also, it includes the aspect of if I can sew some fabric on my sewing machine, since not all fabrics are sewn with the same needle, they come in different numbers and depending on the weave of the fabric.
Although I have already sewn this type of fabric here is called Beverly, it comes in unicolor and printed, and is used a lot in dress, also pants as it is very flexible, or rather strech. For this occasion, making a request from a friend, she wanted me to make this model of dress, which has a ruffle or faralao at the bottom of the skirt that at the same time makes it look more jovial, like the design on the sleeves.
So I show you how to make this design, it is simple and easy to make.

En la medida que van pasando los dias, también hacemos muchas cosas, entre costuras; cada día voy realizando y confeccionando algunas prendas de vestir, unas más fácil que otras, pero las hago sin muchas complicaciones.
No siempre me comprometo en hacer algo que no pueda, también, incluye el aspecto de si puedo coser alguna tela en mi máquina de coser, ya que no todas las telas se cosen con la misma aguja, ellas vienen en distintos números y dependiendo del tejido de la tela.
Aunque ya he cosido este tipo de tela aquí se llama Beverly, viene en unicolor y estampada, y es usada mucho en vestido, también pantalones ya que es muy flexible, o mejor dicho strech. Para esta ocasión realizando un pedido de una amiga, quiso que le hiciera este modelo de vestido, que tiene un volado o faralao en la parte baja de la falda que al mismo tiempo le hace ver más jovial, igual el diseño en las mangas.
Así que les muestro como hacer este diseño, es sencillo y fácil, de poder elaborar.
My materials:
1 1/2 meter of beverly fabric.
Thread, pins, measuring tape, scissors, measuring pattern.
Sewing machine.
Mis materiales:
1 1/2 metro de tela beverly.
Hilo, alfileres, cinta métrica, tijera, patrón de medida.
Máquina de coser.
I always find it easier to cut with the measurement of another garment, or a well-made pattern.
I place the fabric and then the sample dress on top so I can cut to size. It is a size "L" dress.
Taking out the front part it is two parts, the blouse part is separate from the skirt, while the back in one whole piece.
I cut two sleeves, a strip that goes on the neck part, and the stripes that will be placed on the skirt part.
Siempre con la medida de otra prenda de vestir se me hace más fácil cortar, o muy bien un patrón bien elaborado.
Coloco la tela y luego el vestido de muestra encima para poder cortar a la medida. Es un vestido talla "L".
Sacando la parte del frente es dos partes, la parte de la blusa es separada de la falda, mientras que la parte trasera en una pieza entera.
Corté dos mangas, una tira que va en la parte del cuello, y las franjas que se colocara en la parte de la falda.
The first thing I do is to join the piece of the blouse with the skirt that will be the front part, then I sew and join the part of the shoulders, and then sew the edge of the sleeves with the hemming piece or foot of the sewing machine, so that the flounce can be well, it is also the same design in the large faralaos of the skirt.
Lo primero que hago es unir la pieza de la blusa con la falda que será la parte del frente, luego coso y uno la parte de los hombros, para luego coser el borde de las mangas con la pieza o pie de dobladillo de la máquina de coser, para que pueda quedar bien el volado, igualmente es el mismo diseño en los faralaos grandes de la falda.
I glue the sleeves on each side, and close the sides of the dress.
This is how this part is put together.
Once the three faralaos are ready, I press them by placing the one underneath first, and sew each one separately.
On the neck I place the bias binding that I cut and sew it to leave this part neat.
Pego las mangas a cada lado, y cierro los costado del vestido.
Asi se va armando esta parte.
Ya con los faralaos listos los tres, los voy prensando colocando primero el debajo, e ir cosiendo cada uno por separado.
En la parte del cuello le coloco el sesgo que corté y lo coso para dejar esta parte prolija.
This dress is ideal to go out to work meetings, or simply to share with family and friends. Her dress was very nice and she wore it for a meeting.
