Kids are always curious to do new things, and it's not easy for them to sit idle. Gurseerat is also a curious creature. If she sees a new colored box in the home or even a new sketch or marker, her first reaction is always "It's for me!" And the moment she gets her hands on it, she starts trying it out. For many days, she has been asking for some fun activities to do with us. We know she loves colors, so I want the activity to involve colors. Normally, we do sketching together, but she is bored of it. I was looking for a new activity or DIY project that is new to her and also incorporates colors. After some searching, we finally decided to go with flower painting using an interesting method. The method involves using polybags and colors. I will now share with you all the setup, procedure, and end results of the activity.

Sharing the steps Gurseerat and I follow to do DIY painting activity.

All is set and Gurseerat is ready with all necessary items like blank white paper, paint colors, brushes, water, polybag and yes one mat for protection of bed sheet.

I helped the Gurseerat to inflate the polybag and make and seal it by turning it like a thread. This also make the place to hold the polybag as you can saw in the picture.

Another pic of her with inflated polybag but if you observed the bag is not inflated as seen in previous picture. That is because she loosen the grip and air was went out if it.

So its time to help her again to inflate the bag and a that point I was hesitated if she will be able to complete the activity lol.

Its time to apply the pain color on polybag. The inner core of the flower is planed to be yellow so we started with yellow color.

Gurseerat was doing it very carefully as it was instructed to her that do not apply to much as also take care so that it should not splashed over the other items.

She has done a fantastic work. I must appreciate her.

Next is to use the red color for the flower petals. The combination of yellow and red will be a good option.

Gurserat started applying the red color around the already applied yellow color. It was looking nice.

Next step is to make a impression of polybag with color on blank white paper. A single impression will paint a single flower outline.

And repeated it create more flower outlines.

To be honest the outcome was not as expected. it was a mess but what we can expect form a 6 year old kid lol. She apply the pressure unevenly and also spacing between two impression was also not correct.

Here is the final results with branch.

No doubt the wnd results are not as per expectation but it was fun activity with Gurseerat and she enjoyed a lot.

This account belongs to my kid. She is just 6 year old and as she does not know writing so my wife (@mk992039) and me (@guurry123) are managing the account for now. We will handover the account to her when the time comes.
