Espero se encuentren bien, como siempre les traigo tutoriales e ideas que pueden realizar con material reciclado y hoy no será la excepción; vamos a reutilizar nuestros CDs dañados y convertirlos en lindos porta inciensos, que pueden hacer para regalar o para tenerlos en casa y evitar que los restos de incienso se esparzan en el suelo, mesa o cualquier superficie.

Hello friends of Hive Diy! I hope you are well, as always I bring you tutorials and ideas that you can make with recycled material and today will be no exception; we are going to reuse our damaged CDs and turn them into nice incense holders, which you can make to give as gifts or to have them at home and prevent the remains of incense from spreading on the floor, table or any surface.

Para realizarlo vamos a necesitar:
CDs dañados
Pinturas acrílicas o de cerámica en varios colores
Palillos
Corcho de vino
Mod Podge o pega
Pincel

To do this we will need:
Damaged CDs
Acrylic or ceramic paints in various colors
Chopsticks
Wine cork
Mod Podge or glue
Brush

Procedimiento/Procedure

Primero, vamos a pintar toda la superficie de nuestro Cd con el color verde. Después que esté seca la primera capa de pintura, procedemos a darle una segunda capa y dejamos secar (ver imágenes).

First, we are going to paint the entire surface of our Cd with the green color. After the first coat of paint is dry, we proceed to give it a second coat and let it dry (see images).

Luego, con un lápiz vamos a dibujar una flor.

Then, with a pencil we are going to draw a flower.

Tomamos un palillo y vamos pintando el borde de nuestra flor con la técnica de puntillismo y dejamos secar (ver imágenes).

We take a toothpick and paint the edge of our flower with the pointillism technique and let it dry (see images).

Una vez tengamos definido el borde, pintamos con la misma técnica la parte de adentro de la flor, sin tocar el centro del cd (ver imágenes).

Once we have defined the border, we paint with the same technique the inside of the flower, without touching the center of the cd (see images).

Ahora con el color rosa claro, vamos a definir el centro de nuestros pétalos (ver imágenes )

Now with the light pink color, we are going to define the center of our petals (see images).

Con el color amarillo, vamos hacer una flor más grande encima el color rojo, definiendo los pétalos con el color amarillo hasta el círculo central de nuestro cd ( ver imágenes).

With the yellow color, we are going to make a bigger flower on top of the red color, defining the petals with the yellow color up to the central circle of our cd (see images).

Ahora, resaltamos el centro de nuestra flor (centro del CD) con el color amarillo y dejamos secar.

Now, we highlight the center of our flower (center of the CD) with the yellow color and let it dry.

Tomaremos el color rosa claro y el amarillo y con un pincel realizaremos pequeños triángulos amarillos y rosas en cada espacio de los pétalos, de ser necesario pueden dar otra capa de pintura a los triángulos, teniendo cuidado de no levantar la pintura de fondo (color verde).

We will take the light pink and yellow color and with a brush we will make small yellow and pink triangles in each space of the petals, if necessary you can give another coat of paint to the triangles, being careful not to lift the background paint (green color).

Una vez, nuestra flor esté bien seca; vamos a tomar un poco de Mod Podge, y con un pincel vamos a colocar una capa sobre el cd para darle un toque de brillo. Sino tienen Mod Podge, pueden realizarlo agregando 50% de pega blanca y 50% de agua y lo mezclan muy bien.

Once our flower is dry, we will take some Mod Podge and with a brush we will put a layer on the CD to give it a touch of shine. If you don't have Mod Podge, you can do it by adding 50% white glue and 50% water and mix it very well.

Dejan secar por unas dos horas.

Let dry for about two hours.

Para colocar nuestro incienso, vamos a cortar un corcho aproximadamente dos centímetros, lo vamos a pintar con pintura dorada o una pintura que les combine y resalte. Y con un clavo o gancho van a perforar el corcho para poder introducir allí nuestro incienso (ver imágenes).

To place our incense, we are going to cut a cork approximately two centimeters, paint it with gold paint or a paint that combines and highlights. And with a nail or hook you are going to pierce the cork to be able to introduce there our incense (see images).

Ahora, colocaremos un poco de silicón caliente en nuestro corcho y lo pegamos al CD y tenemos listo nuestro porta incienso.

Now, we will put some hot silicone on our cork and glue it to the cd and we have our incense holder ready.

Pueden personalizarlo con el diseño que quieran estrellas, flores o también colocarle el apellido de la familia.

You can personalize it with the design of your choice: stars, flowers or even your family's last name.
