It is a pleasure to be with you again in the ACTIVATE #9 initiative in conjunction with the celebration of Mother's Day. This significant date has motivated me to make a crocheted flower in red wick yarn. Here are the details of the easy process.

Es un placer nuevamente estar con ustedes en la iniciativa ACTIVATE N.º 9 en conjunto a la celebración del Día de la Madre. Esta fecha tan significativa me ha motivado a realizar una flor tejida a crochet en hilo pabilo color rojo. Paso a dar detalles de su fácil proceso.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Eye colored yarn.
- Crochet needle No. 2.
- Bamboo stick.
- Liquid silicone glue.
- Wool needle.
- Hilo pabilo color ojo.
- Aguja crochet N.º 2.
- Palito de bambú.
- Pega de silicona líquida.
- Aguja lanera.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
Ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
aum: increases.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
Ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
pa: punto alto.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
Flower.
- v1: Purl 53 chs, return with mp, all chain.
- v2: 3 chs, turn knit, in same stitch make pa, 1 ch, pa, 2 chs, skip 1 space, 2pa, 1 ch, 2 pa. Repeat sequence.
- v3: mp, 2 pa, 3 chs, 2 para, mp, repeat sequence for each space.
- v4: 3 chs, turn in spaces 9 pa, mp, 9 pa, repeat sequence until finished.
Sheets (2)
- Make 15 chs, return at next point mp, mpa, 10 pa, mpa, mpa, mp, pr, follow in reverse sequence.
Flor.
- v1: Montar 53 chs, devolver con mp, toda la cadena.
- v2: 3 chs, girar tejido, en el mismo punto hacer pa, 1 ch, pa, 2 chs, saltar 1 espacio, 2pa, 1 ch, 2 pa. Repetir secuencia.
- v3: mp, 2 pa, 3 chs, 2 para, mp, repetir secuencia por cada espacio.
- v4: 3 chs, girar en los espacios 9 pa, mp, 9 pa, repetir secuencia hasta terminar.
Hojas (2)
- Se hacen 15 chs, se devuelve en el punto siguiente mp, mpa, 10 pa, mpa, mp, pr, seguir de forma invertida la secuencia.
Assembly//Ensamblado:
- Then assemble the flower, sewing with the wool needle from the outside to the inside.
- Glue the stick to the flower and start to cover it with the green thread.
- And the leaves are glued while we wrap the thread around the stick.
- Luego se arma la flor, cosiendo con la aguja lanera de afuera hacia dentro.
- Se pega el palito a la flor y se empieza a cubrir con el hilo color verde.
- Y las hojas se pegan mientras enrollamos el hilo al palito.

I made this flower with a lot of LOVE, to honor the memory of my dear MOTHER, the special and beautiful being who gave me life.
I was inspired by this simple design, which with the help of the wick thread makes a flower of petals with a lot of body. Its execution is easy and fast.
I chose the color red because it is the most significant color when it comes to Love, hearts 💕 and as a gift, a mom will be very happy.

Esta flor la hice con mucho AMOR, para honrar la memoria de mi querida MADRE, el ser especial y hermoso que me dio la vida.
Me inspiré en este sencillo diseño, que con la ayuda del hilo pabilo hace que se vea una flor de pétalos con mucho cuerpo. Su ejecución es fácil y rápido.
Escogí el color rojo porque es el más significativo en cuanto al Amor se refiere, corazones 💕 y como obsequio, una mamá se pondrá muy feliz.
