Waller and Holozing Female Ocean Healer Fanart!

Holo everyone here! Good Day to @kstreet and @acidyo as always kudos to the unwavering efforts of the whole team even those people who are behind the scenes.

Today I decided to try a different approach to my art style and didn't include a lineart to my final artwork. Since Waller looks really cool and strong that is why i chose to draw this holozing fella along with female ocean healer. I also wanted for them to look different than most of the fanarts so i chose a pretty dynamic pose that is far from their references or original poses. With that in mind let us head on to the art process.

ART PROCESS

Materials Used: clip studio paint software and drawing tablet which is XP PEN artist 12

The first thing is to do a messy lineart; usually, in this step of the process, you visualize what the pose will be at this point. I also use blue colored brush for the rough draft.

Then a clean lineart of the female ocean healer, i sketched her in a different clothings like a highschooler and also i changed the hair style into a ponytail as well as the hair tie.

Then the clean lineart for waller, this time i changed slightly the eye shape to a more friendly one.

Color the base colors almost same to the color palette of the reference ocean female healer.

Then the color base of Waller similar to the theme color of the original reference.

I initially intended to go with how my usual artwork do but then i wanted to try a digital art without lineart so i rendered the details as semi-realistic anime version. I prioritize the female ocean healer.Then rendered Waller, well its actually tiring since i don't know the grasp yet to maximize my efficiency.

Then the last step of rendering process would be putting highlights to all the subject.
And the final step is adding background and also drawing some splashing water effects so add details to Female ocean healer and Waller. Thanks guys hope you like it until my next arts.
