Hola estimados amigos, espero estén muy bien. Hoy con una nueva y hermosa iniciativa desde nuestra comunidad de manos de @mosa71. Tomo la oportunidad para invitar a @evagavilan2 y @zorajaime
En el año 93, me encontraba estudiando en la Universidad Simón Bolívar, Núcleo del litoral, para ese entonces recuerdo que estábamos terminando un trimestre y regularmente cuando eso pasaba, la Universidad cerraba con varios eventos culturales que se iban desarrollando durante esa última semana antes del descanso. Los eventos que se realizaban eran abiertos al público, con invitados muy especiales como la cantautora venezolana "María Rivas".
Recuerdo que para ese evento, mis amigos y yo estuvimos muy atentos, sus canciones estaban pegadas en la rádio y una de las que más nos gustaba era el "Manduco."
Semanas más tarde me llama un amigo para decirme que se había reencontrado con otro amigo músico y le dijo que estaba buscando una contralto (una de las voces femeninas en música) y él había pensado en mi. Varias veces estuvimos a punto de encontrarnos en casa de mi amigo y no fue sino hasta la tarde de un sábado que se me ocurrió llamar a mi amigo y decirle que iría para allá y me dijo, que coincidencia, estoy justamente con Orlando, si no estás haciendo nada, vente de una vez. Así fue como conocí al que hoy día es mi esposo. El resto de la historia queda para otro post :)
Hermosa Coincidencia
Ahora ustedes se preguntarán y ¿que pasó con la historia del concierto de María Rivas?, pues les cuento que mientras hablábamos él me dijo que hacía poco había asistido a un concierto de María Rivas en la Universidad "Simón Bolívar" y había estado todo el tiempo frente a la tarima y mientras el me contaba yo solo trataba de recordar esa tarde y me preguntaba ¿cómo fue que no lo vi? y le dije YO TAMBIÉN ESTABA ALLI, y no te vi. Le pregunté acerca de varias anecdotas que ocurrieron durante el concierto y él me respondió y de paso me aclaró algunas otras y me dijo, que bueno hubiera sido haber coincidido.
No coincidimos la primera vez; sin embargo, lo hicimos en el momento exacto ^-^
My Barn
Hello dear friends. I hope you are very well. Today with a new and beautiful initiative from our community from the hands of @mosa71. I take the opportunity to invite @evagavilan2 and @zorajaime.
In the year 93, I was studying at the Universidad Simón Bolívar, Núcleo del litoral, by then I remember that we were finishing a term and regularly when that happened, the University closed with several cultural events that were developing during the last week before the break. The events that took place were open to the public, with very special guests such as the Venezuelan singer-songwriter "Maria Rivas".
I remember that for that event, my friends and I were very attentive, her songs were stuck on the radio and one of the songs we liked the most was "Manduco."
Weeks later a friend called me to tell me that he had met another musician friend and told him that he was looking for a contralto (one of the female voices in music) and he had thought of me. Several times we were about to meet at my friend's house and it wasn't until a Saturday afternoon that it occurred to me to call my friend and tell him I was coming over and he said, what a coincidence, I'm just with Orlando, if you're not doing anything, come on over. That's how I met the man who is now my husband. The rest of the story is for another post :)
Beautiful Coincidence
Now you may be wondering and what happened with the story of Maria Rivas' concert, well I tell you that while we were talking he told me that he had recently attended a concert of Maria Rivas at the University "Simon Bolivar" and had been all the time in front of the stage and while he told me I was just trying to remember that afternoon and I wondered how come I didn't see him, and I told him I WAS ALSO THERE, and I didn't see you. I asked him about several anecdotes that happened during the concert and he answered me and clarified some others and told me, how nice it would have been to have coincided.
We didn't coincide the first time; however, we did it at the exact moment ^-^
Una necesaria coincidencia
Cuando mi hija mayor entró al prescolar, yo también comencé a buscar trabajo y cuando tenía que dejarla, como toda mamá primeriza, dejaba con ella mi corazón porque los primeros días de adaptación fueron muy fuertes. La dejaba llorando todos los días y eso era algo que me ponía muy triste.
A necessary coincidence
When my oldest daughter entered preschool, I also started looking for a job and when I had to leave her, like every new mom, I left my heart with her because the first days of adaptation were very hard. I left her crying every day and that was something that made me very sad.
Pronto pasaron dos meses y cuando me disponía a pagar la mensualidad del colegio, le pregunté a la dueña ¿Por casualidad están necesitando maestras? En ese momento ella y la hermana se miraron a la cara y ella me respondió, justo la semana pasada la profe de inglés renunció, por razones personales, y estamos buscando una ¿Tú sabes de alguien? y yo le contesté , Yo! Se volvieron a mirar y se echaron a reír y una de ellas, entre risas, me dijo ¿verdad? no juegues con nuestros sentimientos vale! Y les respondí, si necesitan una teacher aquí la tienen y así fue como estuve los siguientes tres años, siendo maestra de inglés en el preescolar "Los Retoñitos". Fue, definitivamente, una feliz coincidencia.
Es una dulce coincidencia cuando dos personas, sin proponérselo se encuentran y cuando se conocen juntos comienzan una nueva histaria, su historia. Es una coincidencia esperanzadora cuando por diferentes causas se encuentran dos personas para ayudarse y suplir sus necesidades.
Soon two months went by and when I was about to pay the school's monthly fee, I asked the owner, "Are you by any chance in need of teachers? At that moment she and the sister looked at each other and she answered me, just last week the English teacher resigned for personal reasons, and we are looking for one. Do you know anyone? and I answered her, I do! They looked at each other again and laughed and one of them, between laughs, said to me right? don't play with our feelings, ok! And I replied, if you need a teacher here she is, and that's how I spent the next three years, being an English teacher at the preschool "Los Retoñitos". It was definitely a happy coincidence.
It is a sweet coincidence when two people, without intending to, meet and when they meet together they start a new story, their story. It is a hopeful coincidence when for different reasons two people meet to help each other and meet their needs.
