Una de las ideas que se me presentan es la relación entre necesidad y creatividad. Esa búsqueda de lo nuevo siempre está motivado por una necesidad que presenta el ser humano.
Recuerdo que de niño mi madre hacia derroche de creatividad para que yo tuviera que comer. Ante la falta de recursos para obtener "productos de gama alta" siempre le veía "inventando" para que hubiera comida en la mesa. ¡Eso nunca faltó!
Desde mi visión de niño muchas veces no entendía por qué yo no podía tener los variados productos industriales que algunos de mis amiguitos tenían. Sin embargo, a la luz de los años entiendo que lo que hacía mi madre era su una calidad enorme. Pero en especial, era una muestra más grande aún de amor hacia sus hijos.
Durante mi infancia eran frecuentes en mis meriendas platillos algo raros para otros. No sé si alguno de ustedes ha comido algo que yo le llamaba "Coquito de 🥕". Mi madre molia la zanahoria en una máquina de moler carne, luego preparaba un dulce parecido a lo que en Cuba llamamos Coquito. Era casi el mismo procedimiento, solo variaban los ingredientes.
Igual hacia con los pudines. No era fácil llegarle a los "dulces finos" como se le llaman por aquí. Sin embargo, con los pudines había una variedad algo extensa, desde mani, yogurt, frutas y otros inventos caseros.
Pero este post no va sobre platillos familiares. Expongo estos ejemplos para ilustrar mi creencia de que la necesidad puede sacar de nosotros versiones valiosas.
Te ha pasado que crees que la creatividad te es ajena y solo después de una situación que semana esfuerzo e inventiva descubres, o te lo hacen ver, que has creado algo novedoso y valioso? !A mí sí! Puede que no sean descubrimientos como la rueda o la 💡 pero hemos creado una alternativa de solución que nos resolvió el problema.
Esto puede aplicar al plano material y al espiritual también. Las personas podemos ser creativas en disímiles áreas. Esto está vinculado además de nuestras capacidades, a nuestros intereses. Ser creativos demanda esfuerzo. Esfuerzo en términos de energía física y psíquica, en tiempo, en voluntad, etc.
Por tanto, como afirma @miriannalis la creatividad está ligada a salir de la zona de confort. Lo desconocido implica que nos orientemos a la búsqueda de soluciones y es allí, cuando se complican las cosas, cuando con los procedimientos conocidos no alcanzan las soluciones, es en ese momento que puede aparecer una solución creativa.
Creo preciso entonces adoptar una mentalidad que nos lleve a aprovechar las circunstancias, por muy cruda que estás parezcan. En estos días he escuchado con frecuencia esta frase: "Hay que pelear. No hay de otra". Se refiere a enfrentar una circunstancia compleja.
Al principio me resultaba canson escucharla. Me sonaba a resignación y puede que la mayor parte de las veces sea ese el sentido que adquiere para quien la utiliza. Sin embargo, me di cuenta que podemos otorgarle otro sentido: " No hay de otra. Para crecer hay que pelear".
No creo que deba agradecer por las situaciones complejas por las que he atravesado en mi vida. Tengo poco de masoquista. No obstante, si llegan toca enfrentarlas y... Si toca enfrentarlas podemos sacarle partido un buscar alternativas de solución. Una circunstancia, mientras más compleja más creatividad demanda. Resolverla puede representar crecimiento.
En este punto caigo en la cuenta de que ser creativos está relacionado a la imagen que tenemos de nosotros mismos. Enfrentar lo desconocido y buscar soluciones requiere esfuerzo y el esfuerzo que dediquemos a eso depende también de lo que creamos de nosotros mismos.
Si a pesar de considerar que no poseemos todas las herramientas para resolver una situación, también consideramos que si tenemos las condiciones para adquirirlas, entonces nuestra voluntad nos ayudará en el proceso de encontrar solución a esa situación desconocida.

I don't think I should be thankful for the complex situations I have gone through in my life. I am not much of a masochist. However, if they come, we have to face them, and... If we have to face them, we can take advantage of them and look for alternative solutions. A circumstance, the more complex it is, the more creativity it demands. Solving it can represent growth.
At this point I realize that being creative is related to the image we have of ourselves. Facing the unknown and looking for solutions requires effort and the effort we put into it also depends on what we believe about ourselves.
If in spite of considering that we do not possess all the tools to solve a situation, we also consider that we do have the conditions to acquire them, then our will will help us in the process of finding a solution to that unknown situation.
Life involves moving into the unknown. Moving into that shadowy zone can be both a challenge and a tremendous opportunity to discover the new, in ourselves and in the world.
