Hello! This post is for the entry of Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. For this post, Noxious Fumes impacts the gameplay and makes the card selection more difficult.
Battle Info
Rank: Modern Novice
Avaliable Type: All except Earth
Mana: 41
Noxious Fumes: All units are Poisoned at the start of the game.
Unprotected: All armor is removed from units and one cannot gain armor.
Even Steavens: Only units with even mana costs may be used.
Quora Towershead would have been a good unit to add in this ruleset, however the Earth type is banned. It is really restricting to use in this ruleset because of 2 very restricting rulesets. Even Steavens restrict the card itself, and Noxious Fumes doesn't like supporting units.
My Lineup
Summoner: Helios Matriarch. It gives +1 speed to all friendly monsters and allows a gladiator in battle. This summoner is the best from the soulbound set since the buffs are decent compared to the others and it also allows Dragon units to be used for the same mana.
First positon: Krash Wanderford. By placing Krash Wanderford here, it would remove the Poison. It also has high speed so if the enemy don't use magic attackers it would be tough to take it down.
Second position: Moxian Rebel. It allows monsters with no attack to attack by Weapons Training ability. Here it gives attack to two important units that would lose the poison effect.
Third position: Grimbardun Smith. In the Noxious Fumes ruleset, it is really good to use this unit with other weapons training cards since it doesn't get negative effects.
Fourth position: Runeseer Sevaya. Although it is another monster that cannot attack and would not get buffs from Weapons training, it has 2 good abilities; cleanse and protect.
Fifth position: Tinderlock. It was a backup plan since they could take down the front monsters quite quickly. In that case Tinderlock would get the last stand ability and get a lot of buffs. It would also deal 3 damage.
Last position: lldrl Fire. Another monster with no attack. This monster is just used to direct enemy backline monster's attack to other places by using Taunt. It would be killed pretty soon, though.

Round 1
The enemy monsters were revealed and I was really delighted to see that my plan has worked. They don't have any magic monsters and with the speed difference it would be really difficult to make an accurate blow to Krash Wonderford. We exchanged shots and lldrl Fire took some damage, and enemy Djinn Chwala also took some damage here. Scavo Chemist removed Poison from both front units.
Round 2
Poison hit all units and it resulted in some heavy damage to both lineups. Djinn Chwala was taken down but also lldrl Fire was taken down.
Round 3
Enemy Chimney Wallstop is taken down, and the speed difference is making enemy ranged monsters to miss all the shots.
Round 4
Enemy Tinderlock misses the attack again despite having only 3 speed difference.
Round 5
Poison kills the buffed enemy Tinderlock which wins me.
Thoughts about this battle
Noxious Fumes were really affecting this battle a lot and immunity and cleanse won the game for me. My opponent went a little bit same strategy but they were not able to win.
Thanks!
