Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Battle Challenge! (Healed Out)

I love the idea that the Weekly Battle Challenge changed instead of featuring a monster to represent a ruleset. It is so good to do something different than usual and I hope they will continually do this in the future. The best way would be to mix these challenges, so every week would be more interesting.

This week we need to show a ruleset, which is the Healed Out and the way I used it to my (dis)advantage in the Battle I played. 😇

My only problem with this new system is that it is very difficult to do battles with the specific ruleset featured for the week challenge, because it is random what you are going to get and even if you have that ruleset you need to win it somehow, which is not always easy. 😏

All healing abilities are removed.

This applies to summoners as well. Healing abilities include Heal, Tank Heal, and Triage.

The Healed Out ruleset is one of my favorite one, because I do not like the fact that monsters could heal themselves or others to make it more difficult to achieve a kill throughout the battle. Without any heal it is important to use monsters with high Health and to make sure they have enough Armor or the Repair ability to protect their friendly monsters. 😊

RulesetDescription
What doesn't Kill YouAll Monsters have the Enrage ability.
Healed OutAll healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.
Blood and SunderAll units gain Corrosive Ward.

The mana cap is 21, which is not that much, so it is important to use low budget monsters in order to achieve more damage through more monsters rather using only few with high base stats. All the monsters will receive an extra 50% buff for their stats thanks to the Enrage ruleset, but it is not that significant using monsters with smaller stats.

The Blood and Sunder ruleset is similar to the reflect damages, but it only works against Armors, so if a monster with any Armor attacks another one they will receive 2 damage to their Armor. 💪

My lineup and the decision behind it!

Summoner
Lux Vega

image.png

Lux Vega is one of the best summoner in the game, because she cost only 5 mana and she gives three stats to all of his friendly monsters. She will give +1 Speed, Armor and Health to all of her monsters, which is absolutly game changer in many cases. 😁

Main Tank
Pelacor Conjurer
image.png

I used a super low budget tank for this game and even thought the Conjurer doesn't have any attack many times he is the best choice for this position. He cost only two mana and has high Speed and the Flying ability to dodge as much attack as he possibly can. 😇

Off Tank

Blinding Reflector
image.png

The Blinding Reflector is another low budget tank in case my main tank dies. He also has the Magic Reflect ability like my Conjurer, so they are extra dangerous against the Magic attack monsters. 😆

Low Budget Opportunist
Celestial Harpy
image.png

The Celestial Harpy cost only two mana, so it is very easy to use him and his most important ability is his Opportunity, which means that he will attack the lowest Health monsters in every round. He is also able to Fly to receive some extar dodge chance against any Melee and Ranged attack monsters. 😌

Protector
Temporal Master
image.png

The Temporal Master has two very important ability. The first is his Recharge, which means that he will attack only every other rounds, but he will deal three times more damage. He also has the Stun ability, so if his huge attack not going to kill his target he will have 50% chance to Stun them. 😜

Sneaker Damage Dealer
Stitch Leech
image.png

The Stitch Leech is like a Pelacor Bandit from the Water Splinter, but he is part of the Life Splinter**. He also cost only 3 mana has alright Speed, but on top of his huge Sneak attack he has the Life Leech ability, which will increase his own Health with every successful attack that he makes. 😉

Poisonous Damage Dealer
Uraeus
image.png

The Uraeus cost three mana as well and he has some Armor on its own as well. He has the Sneak attack ability as well, but more importantly he is able to Poison his targets allowing them to take two damage at the end of every round. The trigger rate would be 50% of this ability. 🤗

My opponent brought Kelya Frendul who gives +1 Speed and Armor to all of his friendly monsters for only 4 mana. It is important to save some mana on the summoner in low mana battles to use more or stronger monsters.

In the first round my Sneak attack monsters killed their Torrent Fiend who was just a decoy and his Deeplurker attack my Stitch Leech using his Opportunity attack and also managed to Poison him. Even his Bandit made a huge damage on my Uraeus, but luckily he survived with one Health and he managed to Poison the Bandit back who died at the second round against the Poison.

Sadly, I lost my Uraeus in the second round due to their Deeplurker, but at least my Temporal Master managed to Stun their Diemonshark, which was a very important moment. 😁

Therefore his Diemonshark skipped the third round and only his Deeplurker attacked and killed my Stitch Leech.

In the fourth round my Celestial Harpy dodged the Deeplurker's attack and he killed him instead, so only their Diemonshark left on the battlefield.

Luckily for the fifth round my Temporal Master recharged his attack and he managed to deal double damage against their Diemonshark who died straight away and won the game for me. 😇
