Splinterland for me has been a bedrock for sticking around the crypto space, while wondering in the web2 space for years and playing fun games that doesn't reward users for their time spent, I stumbled upon this blockchain game back in 2021, this was while I was exploring some earning opportunities online I found Splinterland from a steemit post ever since than my journey with this epic card blockchain game began as a novice and gradually I began to love the strategic play to earn game as I still play till date.
Splinterland have been around for years even before NFTs became a thing in the crypto space, I think they should be given credit for one of the pioneering game that brought about the idea on collectibe item that can be traded on chain.

It's a strategic card playing game where opponent (summoners) meet in the arena and compete against each other, don't be scared as a newbie to venture into the arena as its a fair game play you won't me matched with a veteran player as novice.

Discovery of Splinterlands
My first encounter with splinterland was back when it was still called steem monster although at that time I payed little attention to the game despite registering and having an account then I couldn't figure out what I was missing.
After some months I became more curious and started playing in 2022 and I became more glue to the game.
My discovery of splinterland game was obviously from steemit blockchain.
Time Spent in Splinterlands
I'm actually the busy type with lots of activities to complete on daily basis which means there is need for me to always balance out my gaming time daily.
Splinterland can be very time demanding sometimes I spend couple of hours of gaming although I don't exceed two hours thanks to the energy level system which makes one to be reminder of their gaming time spent.
I do play splinterland most times during the night after completing my task I could sometimes play in the morning as well this makes me to have chance of playing.
There is always time for everything which means I always manage to balance my playing time and daily routine activity of the day.
Accomplishments
Over the cause of playing splinterland I've played over 8,300 battles and still counting a winning of 3,800 battle won on both modern and wild formats I've had a longest streak of 11 with a max of bronze and highest ranking of 2,444. Which can be seen from the image above.
Upcoming Goals achieving goals are what make life fun! There are certain league I will like to achieve getting more epic battling cards are one of my main goals lately as I've been stacking up more cards to stand out in the arena.
Getting to diamond league will be a big goal which I'm working towards as I'm gathering more cards for this journey.
Advice for Beginners
Learn from your mistakes, study other players strategy.
You can't always win every battle that's one thing to always remember while playing splinterland game, which means as you play with other opponent you need to observe their come up strategy and work towards perfecting your lapses.
As a newbie consistency is a good key for winning in splinterland which mean there is need to always practice and compete against other players take advantage of getting new cards try out new strategy and don't be afraid to loss a battle.
