This is a ranked Diamond match. The game has the following rule sets: Counterspell, Aim True, and Broken Arrows. Aim True is fantastic for Akane + Venka since it removes the possible RNG of getting several misses. After choosing those 2 cards, Cruel Sethropod is a pretty good tank, and Tide Biter a nice Reach option. I put a Fiend in there and Vruz in the last position to potentially buff Venka. They went with Kelya, and had the same 2 first monsters. Merdaali Guardian was next and Pelacoor Bandit in the forth slot. They finished their team with a Fiend and Doctor Blight.
I gave Ambush to Vruz and Venka. I didn't see any point in giving Ambush to Cruel Sethropod because my Venka would attack for 7 here and 8 in round 1 thanks to the martyr. They got my Vruz with Pelacor Bandit but my Venka took out their first 2 monsters. The rest of the attacks were not too relevant. In round 2, the Bandit left Venka at 2 HP but its attack killed the Guardian and the Bandit. Sethropod killed their Fiend before dying to poison. Venka and Tide Biter were enough to finish their Doctor in round 3
