Focus and follow-up on the release of Rebellion
Where are we with pre-sales?
As I write these lines, there are just over twenty-three days left to take part in the resale of the Rebellion expansion.
Just over 23 days to go before the pre-sale endsAfter a massive craze (and I've no doubt a little FOMO) in which I myself took part through my TYC guild (by the way, if you're French-speaking, we're recruiting right now!), things have calmed down a little.
At the moment, we're at around half the number of packs made available for pre-sale (i.e. 500,000 packs), which is both a very good result and a little disappointing in the long run.
Nevertheless, I'm not worrying too much about it, and I'm almost certain that as the end of the pre-sale approaches, FOMO will surface again and the last packs will be sold.

However, there are a few things that bother me. As you know from my article last week, the Splinterlands team had set up a system to ensure that airdrops were conditional on the purchase and skating of these packs.
For the time being, this doesn't seem to be preventing massive sales of packs on the secondary market.

Like every Monday, the town hall was attended by the CEO of splinterlands (Yabapmatt) and a creative (Nate).
We were treated to some highly interesting information. The release date for the full expansion is set for 05/12, making this an early Christmas present!
We should also be treated to some teasing information, with glimpses of the stats on certain maps. This should provide plenty of fodder for debate around the release of the expansion, and possibly market prices for existing maps with obvious synergies with Rebellion!

To conclude this article with a bit of levity, I propose to review my favorite drawings that Nate presented at the Town Hall:
This is clearly my favorite atwork from this town hall! She looks really cool with her toothpick and those dreadlocks.
Personally, I'm leaning towards a blue or dragon summoner (or biclassed blue/purple), but what about you?
With Rebellion , the return of the goblins is clearly underway! This one's great with his patched gangster suit and huge cigar!
I wonder what his abilities will be ?
And finally, a second goblin who's the kind you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. Straight out of a ganster movie during Prohibition, even his background is aggressive!
I'm leaning towards a low-mana red card for rapid aggression or harassment!
Final Words
The pre-sale is underway and everything seems to be going well. I hope that the splinterland team will look into the case of the packs available on the secondary market and eventually rectify the situation.
As for the development of the expansion, everything seems to be going well too, and I can't wait to see the new artwork and the features of the first maps!

Au moment où j’écris ces lignes, il reste un peu plus de vingt-trois jours pour participer à la ré-vente de l’extension Rebellion.
Il reste un peu plus de 23 jours avant que la prévente ne se termine
Après un engouement massif (et je n’en doute pas un peu de FOMO) auquel j’ai moi-même participer par le biais de ma guilde TYC (d’ailleurs si vous êtes francophones, nous recrutons en ce moment même !), les choses se sont un peu calmés.
Pour le moment nous en sommes à environ la moitié des paquets mis à disposition pour la prévente (soit 500.000 paquets) ce qui est, à la fois un très bon résultat, et un peu décevant sur le temps long.
Néanmoins je ne m’en fais pas trop pour ça et je suis presque certain que la fin de la prévente arrivant, le FOMO fera de nouveau surface et les derniers paquets seront vendu.

Il a cependant quelques choses qui me dérange, comme vous le savez si vous avez lu mon article de la semaine dernière, un système garantissant que les airdrops soit conditionnés à l’achat puis au skating de ces paquet avait était mis en place par l’équipe de Splinterlands.
Cela ne semble pas, pour le moment, empêcher une vente massive des packs sur le marché secondaire.

Nous avons eu droit à plusieurs informations du plus haut intérêt. Ainsi la date de sortis de l’extension complète est fixé au 05/12, ce qui nous offriras un beau cadeau de noël en avance !
Nous devrions aussi avoir droit à du teasing avec des aperçus de statistiques de certaines cartes. De quoi largement alimenter les débats autour de la sortis de l’extension et possiblement les prix du marché concernant les cartes existantes présentant des synergie évidente avec celle de Rebellion !

Pour conclure cet article avec un peu de légèreté, je vous propose de passer en revu mes dessins préférés que Nate à présenter lors du Town Hall :
Il s’agit clairement de mon atwork favoris de ce town hall ! Elle a vraiment l’air cool avec son cure dent et ces rastas.
Pour ma part je penche pour un invocateur bleu ou dragon (ou biclassé bleu / violet) et vous ?
Visiblement avec Rebellion , le retour des gobelins est signé ! Celui-là est génial avec son costume de gangster rapiécé et son énorme cigare !
Je me demande bien quelles seront ces capacités
Et pour finir un second gobelin qui lui est du genre qu'on n'aimerait pas croiser dans une ruelle sombre. Tout droit tiré d'un film de gangster durant la prohibition, même son fond de carte est agressif !
Je penche pour une carte rouge coutant peu de mana et permettant une agression rapide de l'adversaire ou du harcèlement !
Le mot de la fin
La prévente suit son cours et tout semble bien ce passé, j'espère que l'équipe de splinterland va se pencher sur le cas des packs disponible au marché secondaire et éventuellement rectifier le tir.
Du côté du développement de l'extension, tout parait bien se passer également et je ne vous cache pas que je suis impatient de voir de nouveau artwork et les caractéristiques des premières cartes !
