Incuse Indian 1oz Silver Round by the Golden State Mint

in Silver Gold Stackers8 months ago (edited)

I picked up this Incuse Indian 1oz fine silver round a few weeks ago, it was produced by Golden State Mint, a remake of the original Indian Head gold coin.

Indian Head

The common Incuse Indian round is based off the original $2.50 and $5.00 Indian Head gold coin design that was minted from 1908 to 1929. Incuse is defined as being formed by hammering, stamping, or pressing.

1oz Silver Incuse Indian

This 1oz fine silver Incuse Indian round was privately made in the USA by Golden State Mint - a family-operated business headquartered in Florida with over 45 years of experience.

The obverse side of this round features a Native American Chief in full headdress. Along the top curve is the text "LIBERTY", fifteen stars are along the rest of the round's curve.

The reverse side of the round features an American Eagle, perched on an arrow, clutching an olive branch. A USA motto "In God We Trust" is to the right of the eagle, another motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" (out of many, one) is to the left.

Along the top curve of the round is the text "GOLDEN STATE MINT", along the bottom curve is "1 TROY OZ .999 FINE SILVER".

Another beauty round from the Golden State Mint, based on a classic design, the Incuse Indian is a finely struck silver round for the stack.

What a nice round that is! A great replica of the $5 and $2.50 gold coins.
Stack on, @mraggaj !

Even though the originals are worth much more, he some how he looks happier on the replica :)

For most of us who can't afford the gold version. Keep on stacking!

It wouldn't be much of a stack if I was stacking gold :) I'm having much more fun with the silver.

Great design, I have a gold one. Golden State Mint does nice work.

Nice, seems like a popular design to remake, I noticed SilverTowne has some Incuse Indian rounds too :)

That is beautiful! They sure do great detailing!

The more I zoom in on this round, the more I like it's attention to detail :)

Nice one! I think not having an out rim makes for a cool look.

The no rim reminds me of some of the old coins I've seen, with the stars and other details right up to the edge. I also like that deep groove around the Indian and eagle make it look like it was outlined with a black marker :)

Details have shown in clear manner. Very beautiful stack.

Thanks, this round has a lot of character and history to it :)

That's one of my favorite designs would be sweet to own a gold one

I like this design too, very unique deep pressing on it, classic design.

I need to get me one but couldn't find it maybe sold out on silvergoldbull

I always prefer silver to gold
The one on silver looks good

I definitely have more fun with the silver coins, for the cost of one gold piece I can pickup 80 silver pieces instead :)
