There was a special delivery in the mail last week from @spinvest, a box full of blockchain goodies, and Silver Winnings from one of my #SilverGoldStackers Monster Raffle Tickets.

The Hive #SilverGoldStackers community Monster Raffle was held a couple weeks ago, many people donated silver pieces, many people purchased raffle tickets for a chance to win. I was lucky enough to win on a couple draws, here is the @sgs-community post about the Raffle and Winnings.

Last week I received one of the raffle prizes in the mail from @spinvest with the raffle ticket winnings. Packed with goodies, a Hive/Spinvest mug, stickers, fridge magnets, a deck of playing cards, pens, candies, and chocolates - a blockchain care package, nice.

A couple nostalgia pieces from the old Blockchain, a 2018 1oz fine silver Steem round, and an 80 gram 925 sterling silver hand poured Steem Silver Gold bar, beauties.

A long story short, many years ago Steem went through a sort of hostile takeover, so all the cool folks left and created Hive. I was also on Steem back in the day before leaving for Hive, so it's a fun flashback for me to have these silver pieces. The round design and production is professional quality, the tree of life design is classic too.
The 80g 925 sterling silver hand pour bar has a nice weight to it and feel in the hand, a lot of character with the hand stamping and the back side of the pour. I wasn't involved with the Steem Silver Gold community back then, but I've started stacking this past year and connected with the #SilverGoldStackers community on Hive.

Yuhh Steem nowadays maybe isn't so popular, but silver and gold still keeps it for the memories in it's forms
At the very least it'll always be worth it's weight in silver, for now I'll enjoy the keepsakes :)
