New Features and Enhancements
- Twitter Embed Integration for x.com:
- We've successfully re-integrated Twitter embeds from x.com, allowing users to directly view and interact with Twitter content on our platform.
- Search Query Lowercase Conversion:
- Enhanced the search functionality by automatically converting all search queries to lowercase, thus standardizing the input for more consistent search results.
- Simplified Organizational Links:
- Removed the 'org/en/' prefix from organizational links to streamline the user experience.
- Meta Description for SEO:
- Implemented meta descriptions to web pages to improve search engine optimization (SEO) and attract more organic traffic.
- SEO Optimization with h1 and h2 Tags:
- Incorporated h1 and h2 tags strategically throughout our site content to further boost our SEO performance.
- Bookmark Icon Feature:
- Added a bookmark icon, enabling users to easily save and revisit their favorite content.
- Home Page Feed Refresh:
- Implemented a mechanism for automatic re-fetching of feeds on the home page to ensure content is always current.
Bug Fixes and Maintenance
- Blank Screen Bug on Fast Scrolling Fix:
- Addressed a bug that caused a blank screen during fast scrolling, thereby enhancing the stability and smoothness of the browsing experience.
- Profile Image Loading Fix:
- Addressed and resolved the issues affecting the loading of profile images.

- We fixed a large number of bugs and now have a strong initial long-form platform for Hive.
Lite.D.Buzz
Hive and Lite mode implemented
We’ve developed another way of logging in and posting content on D.Buzz with the help of SPKNetwork (@threespeak) team, you can now login with your MetaMask and post content to D.Buzz and interact with Hive users as well.
Hive and Lite posts in the same feed
When you’re logged in with MetaMask, you’ll now see a merged feed for both Lite and Hive posts.
You can comment on Hive posts as well. This will be refined further before fully integrating Lite.D.Buzz with D.Buzz Production.
Chat.D.Buzz
Chat Feature added to DBuzz
- We've deployed our own release of Sting Chat where you can chat in communities and it's interoperable with instances hosted by @peakd @actifit @davaodeficom and others (built by @peak.open and @mirafun).
Layout Adjustments
- Added fixes and refinement related to icon placement and responsiveness.
Auto.Vote
@keychain Based Alternative of Hive.Vote
Created and deployed a Keychain based alternative of Hive.Vote.
Hosted on a Premium Domain Name, https://Auto.Vote.
DBuzz Leaderboard
- We built a leaderboard page, offering users a competitive and engaging way to track their contributions and achievements. The software for gathering stats will be double checked, expanded and fixed when necessary for an accurate view of the top DBuzz contributers.

New Features and Improvements
- Updated Navigation Menu:
- Added a much more advanced navigation menu.
- FAQs for Buzz Title Character Limits:
- Added a FAQ section addressing the character limits in the buzz title section, providing clarity to our users.
- Theme-Based Buzz Button:
- Updated the buzz button to adapt dynamically to the website’s theme, enhancing the visual coherence of our platform.
- Wallet Values Font Modification:
- Improved the readability of wallet values by updating the font style.
- Improved Comment/Reply Search Filter:
- Added a filter in the search functionality to specifically focus on comments and replies, refining the search experience.
- SEO-Friendly Post Implementation:
- Introduced tools and features to create SEO-friendly posts, enhancing the visibility of user-generated content.
- Unassigned Error Resolution:
- Implemented a solution to handle scenarios where errors were previously unassigned, thereby improving system reliability.
D.Buzz/Developers
Widget for Buzz Button
- Fixed the Developers page and the Buzz button. Posts from 3speak.tv now properly Buzz to D.Buzz.
Bug Fixes and Maintenance
- Fixed SEO for terms of service typeahead:
- Fixed the SEO for our terms and service page.
- Floating Profile Follow/Unfollow Button Fix:
- Resolved issues with the follow/unfollow buttons on floating profiles for a smoother user interaction.
- Notification Page Bug Fix:
- Addressed and fixed various issues on the notification page, improving its reliability and usability.
This development cycle reflects our commitment to continuous improvement, prioritizing user experience, platform functionality, and overall system stability. Has the code been open-sourced yet? If not, when? As I recall this one of the key points of the related DHF proposal...
We are open sourcing it this moment @blocktrades, not just D.Buzz but everything we built for HIVE.
Our Lead Dev and @nathansenn are ensuring everything is in order, and it's being open sourced through an unrestricted license (aka. unlicense).

https://auto.vote will add custom filtering to prevent voting on specific hashtags thus allowing autovoters to avoid voting on posts in specific communities (ie. D.Buzz).
