In my city there was a young movement that was fond of the game of bowling and it was almost mandatory on Saturday nights to meet at the bowling alley to measure our skills in this game, reason why the appearance of a video game with these characteristics was a new meeting point but this time in the homes of those who had an Atari console.

Bowling for Atari was released in 1979, and is one of the classic titles that defined the era of video games at that time.

In this game, players have the opportunity to experience the thrill of bowling from the comfort of their homes.

The objective of the game is simple: the player controls an arrow-shaped character on the screen and must adjust the direction and power of the throw to knock down the pins.

Although the graphics and gameplay were rather simple due to the technological limitations of the time, the game managed to capture the thrill of bowling.

The game featured different game modes, such as single-player mode and two-player mode, which allowed players to compete against friends or family.

As players progressed through the game, they faced increasingly difficult challenges, with bowling pins becoming faster and harder to knock down.

While Bowling for Atari may seem simple in comparison to modern games, it was an iconic title that helped popularise the sports game genre in the video game world.
