Hola Gamers ¿Cómo están? Espero que estén super bien y sean bienvenidos a una nueva publicación hecha por mí. Hoy les quiero traer un juego bastante curioso, de esos que no sabía que iba a jugar, tal vez por su temática que no me interesa mucho, pero siempre es bueno probar cosas nuevas, me caracterizo por jugar juegos de deportes, pero nunca había intentado jugar un juego de Surf, en este caso traigo un juego de Surf para el Nintendo Gamecube y su nombre es Transworld Surf Next Wave.
Transworld Surf Next Wave es un juego para surfear, así es, para surfear en las olas en distintas localidades del mundo, el Nintendo Gamecube siempre tiene una joyita oculta por ahí jaja, a mí en lo personal no me gusta mucho el surf como deporte porque me parece algo aburrido, a su vez, he visto muchas películas de surfistas que esas si son divertidas, pero una cosa es verlo y otra cosa es jugar un videojuego así que vamos a darle una oportunidad.
Transworld Surf Next Wave es un juego de Surf así que no esperen gran cosa jaja. Este videojuego lo conocí cuando era pequeño, mis primos llegaron a jugar el juego un par de veces en la Nintendo GameCube, lo que más me acuerdo es que las olas que salían eran gigantescas, algo inverosímil la verdad, los personajes podían hacer trucos de forma inexplicable. Este videojuego se puede jugar de 4 personas y recuerdo que mis familiares se molestaban entre sí para saber quién haría más trucos jaja.
Como lo ven en la foto este juego lo conservo en físico junto a otros juegos del GameCube, pero como no tengo alguna consola para probarlo pues toca jugarlo en emulador, eso fue lo que hice, estuve jugando un par de horas y puedo decir que el juego es más difícil de lo que parece.
A pesar de que se trata de un juego sólo de Surf tiene su dificultad, para ganar en Transworld Surf Next Wave e ir desbloqueando las demás ciudades con sus playas, tenemos que conseguir una cantidad necesaria de puntos en cada nivel, puntos que se consiguen haciendo distintas acrobacias peligrosas, para conseguir estos puntos tenemos que buscar olas largas y hacer trucos encima de ellas, en el juego se pueden hacer un montón de trucos.
Como no soy aficionado de este deporte pues no tengo ni idea de cómo se llaman los movimientos jaja. Lo que sí puedo decir es que para hacer los trucos se necesita habilidad en los controles, como estoy jugando en emulador pues los controles no se asemejan a los normales, juego con un mando de PS3. Los controles no son nada del otro mundo, nos movemos con la palanca, pulsamos la “A” para saltar, “B” lo usamos para golpear y los gatillos se usan para mantener el equilibrio.
La mayoría de los trucos se hacen presionando el Botón "Z" dicho botón lo tengo asignado al botón "Select" en el emulador, lo cual me incómodo mucho la existencia jaja, lo máximo que podía hacer era el típico giro en el aire y mantener el equilibrio en la ola, este último truco te puede romper los dedos si no estás bien preparado, lo bueno es que si mantienes durante mucho tiempo el equilibrio acumuladas muchos puntos.
Cada vez que empecemos una competencia y logremos hacer puntos necesarios podemos ir eligiendo una ola en la misma zona, este apartado me resulto un poco confuso ya que podemos terminar una ola y empezar con otra lo que provoca que nuestro surfista se teletransporte al otro lado del mapa jaja, el narrador es muy carismático y suelta algunos comentarios graciosos.
Por otro lado, recuerdo que este juego mientras estás en la partida te pueden salir animales, como tortugas o calamares, pero recuerdo que el más peligroso era el tiburón, en este juego pueden salir tiburones que te pueden comer jaja, no es broma, si te atrapa uno tiene que presionar varias veces el Botón "B" para liberarte y si no lo consigues pierdes.
Lo más curioso es que se puede usar un tiburón como tabla de surf jaja. En cuanto a la cantidad de personajes puedo decir que casi todos son surfistas profesionales, para el año 2003 claro, no todos ya que tenemos personajes Random como un enano con máscara que sale en la portada del juego, o una periodista con un traje de baño blanco y con todas las estadísticas al máximo.
Las localizaciones me parecieron curiosas, podemos ir desde playas en Australia, pasando por el puente de San Francisco, podemos Surfear en el Mar mediterráneo e incluso podemos Surfear en la Antártida, Dios surfear ahí debe doler los huesos por el frío jaja, ese nivel me pareció demasiado curioso, como mencioné antes para desbloquear estás localidades tenemos que ir cumpliendo con los puntajes de los niveles.
Para mí lo más difícil es mantener al margen al personaje, lo bueno que puedo destacar del Gameplay son los gráficos, este juego tiene buenos gráficos bien logrados, también tiene un sonido de ambiente que pareciera que estuvieras en una playa de verdad, lo que puedo reclamar es el diseño de los humanos, parecen salchichas jaja.
Más allá de que no sea fanático del Surf debí admitir que este juego se ve entretenido, te da una nueva visión de lo que es el mundo, aunque pare ser sincero le tengo miedo al mar jaja así que jamás me subiría a una tabla, en un videojuego se ve bueno, recomiendo jugar Transworld Surf Next Wave para pasar el rato, lo que más me gusta sin duda es pegarles a los tiburones, esa parte del juego no es realista, pero funciona.

I knew this video game when I was little, my cousins got to play the game a couple of times on the Nintendo GameCube, what I remember most is that the waves that came out were gigantic, something unlikely the truth, the characters could inexplicably do tricks. This video game can be played with 4 people and I remember that my relatives used to bother each other to know who would do more tricks haha.

As I'm not a fan of this sport I have no idea what the moves are called haha. What I can say is that to do the tricks you need skill in the controls, I'm playing in an emulator because the controls do not resemble the normal ones, I play with a PS3 controller. The controls are nothing special, we move with the joystick, we press "A" to jump, "B" is used to hit and the triggers are used to keep the balance.
Most of the tricks are done by pressing the "Z" button, this button is assigned to the "Select" button in the emulator, which made my existence very uncomfortable haha, the most I could do was the typical turn in the air and keep the balance on the wave, this last trick can break your fingers if you are not well prepared, the good thing is that if you keep the balance for a long time you accumulate a lot of points.
Each time we start a competition and we manage to make the necessary points we can choose a wave in the same area, I found this section a little confusing because we can finish a wave and start with another which causes our surfer to teleport to the other side of the map haha, the narrator is very charismatic and makes some funny comments.
On the other hand, I remember that this game while you are in the game you can get animals like turtles or squid, but I remember that the most dangerous was the shark, in this game, you can get sharks that can eat you haha, no kidding, if you catch one you have to press the "B" button several times to free yourself and if you do not get it you lose.
The most curious thing is that you can use a shark as a surfboard haha. As for the number of characters, I can say that almost all of them are professional surfers, for the year 2003 of course, not all of them since we have Random characters like a dwarf with a mask that appears on the cover of the game, or a journalist with a white swimsuit and with all the stats to the maximum.
The locations seemed curious to me, we can go from beaches in Australia, through the San Francisco bridge, we can Surf in the Mediterranean Sea and we can even Surf in Antarctica, God surfing there must hurt the bones with the cold haha, that level seemed too curious, as I mentioned before to unlock these locations we have to go fulfilling the scores of the levels.
For me the most difficult thing is to keep the character on the sidelines, the good thing I can highlight from the gameplay is the graphics, this game has good graphics well done, and it also has an ambient sound that looks like you're on a real beach, what I can complain about is the design of humans, they look like sausages haha.
Beyond the fact that I'm not a Surf fan, I must admit that this game looks entertaining, it gives you a new vision of what the world is, although to be honest I'm afraid of the sea haha so I would never get on a board, in a videogame it looks good, I recommend playing Transworld Surf Next Wave to pass the time, what I like the most without a doubt is hitting the sharks, that part of the game is not realistic, but it works.

Hola Gr33n espero que estés muy bien, así es, los juegos de Surf o por lo menos este tiene una jugabilidad parecida a los juegos de Tony Hawk o los de Snowboarding, para jugar necesitas tener una noción del deporte jaja.
