Garden Update Day Six and Seven - Canna-Update

in HiveGarden20 days ago

Hello Everyone,

I fell a day behind with the updates due to some things popping up that exhausted my entire day yesterday.

So today I am combining the two days into one post, with photos from both days, and also making this my cannabis update post too since there's not a whole lot going on with them yet.

Let's get into it.

Day Six

Not much of a noticeable difference between the two days, but one thing that is definitely noticeable is that everything looks healthy and happy.

I'm sure their will be some challenges that will soon present themselves. What types of challenges I'm not 100% sure, but I do think I'll need to put up some trellis support for the tomatoes soon.

Now let's check out the Crack Mack's.

As I was kind of expecting, the fourth Crack Mack didn't make it. No big deal though because I have three healthy Crack Mack's that are coming along beautifully.

I've been keeping the pots rather wet, and these seedlings seem to be pretty happy with it.

The new grow room gets pretty warm even with the main overhead lights running 35%, so I will need to work something out for heat management in the coming weeks.

In the other grow tent...

I have a few different things going on in here. I made the mistake of putting this bamboo plant outside too early in the season and it got messed up badly. I had to pull it back in and try to get it healthy again. It could take some time, but it didn't take long for this destruction to occur.

The pepper plant is happy as can be, and I've already eaten half of the peppers raw off the plant. I have a serious addiction to super hot peppers and am craving one right now as I'm typing this thinking about it.

They are ripe and super hot right now, it feels so good to experience their hotness.

This is another one that was ravaged by the cold weather. I had to remove some of the outer growth, but I think it will bounce back just fine.

This aloe is the current rising star and is birthing some beautiful pups out of the root system right now. This plant is a mega success, and at one point was a little pup itself from the massive mother that I still have growing nice and healthy. Soon those baby pups will be pulled and replanted so that they may one day grow rapidly and produce pups of their own.

These pink hearts have been growing pretty rapidly in this tub. At some point I'll likely take clippings out to become their own separate plants.

The graptosedum's have been hanging on for dear life, as per the usual.

The pothos vine is coming back to life slowly but surely. It's a huge vine, maybe fifteen feet long. Once I have some good growth happening I'll take it out of the tents and put it up in the house on hooks.

So that's pretty much everything I have going on with the gardens right now.

Now I'm feeling the urge to go pop a couple peps.

What do you all think of how the plants are looking?

Thank you for stopping by!

Have a great day! -@futuremind

Slowly the way we see them getting bigger now will have to work harder on them.

Thank you my friend. The work will increase soon for sure.

Most welcome dear.

Looking good.. the garden plants look like they are holding on there. May be a week or two before you see new growth.

Thanks man. Just hoping they root good and grow healthy and big. I've been pH'ing the water I give them. A lot of people complain of plant issues in this area and water from a garden hose, but I'm trying tubs that are pH'd instead.

Lookin good bro.. the seedlings look happy. 😀

I have a serious addiction to super hot peppers and am craving one right now as I'm typing this thinking about it.

Might need to add a few more pepper plants to keep up with your habit. 😂

Have a great weekend!

Thank you bro. I'm really happy with how they're coming along. Have them on an 18/6 light schedule with the overhead a few feet away running 35% power. I played around with a light intensity reader app to get the intensity where I want it and they are happy as can be 🤓

You're right about that with the pepper plants lol. I have some carolina reaper and white ghost scorpion seeds, along with some extreme hot "randoms" lol.

Have a great weekend as well!

Ohhh I will! Thank you for informing me about this @owasco!

Actually, those Aloe does look like alien plants 🤔

They seriously do.

Wow, you are good at your work, no worries, we can be busy, it happens. thanks for updating us what you were doing last two days.

Thank you for the kind words @itwithsm. I always give my best effort and hope for the best.

You’re doing well
I’m sure we’d be able to spot a huge difference between day six and ten

Thank you @rafzat. I hope we'll see a huge difference soon. They are looking pretty good.
