May 11th, 2024This week there wasn't much activity. A former member that was muted for a lack of genuine engagement withdrew his delegation, and that was expected to happen eventually. But the overall trend of wholesome members increasing their delegations continued. @tpkidkai jumped from 51 HP to 140 HP, and joined the ranks of the elite and mysterious SILVER VIPs. Beyond this activity, there isn't much to mention in the world of delegation news.
I am still on hiatus from my personal blog, mostly spending my days fighting with the US government over how our visa cases are being handled. In addition to this I am a full-time househusband, doing the majority of the cooking, cleaning, and child-raising. I wish I could afford a caregiver for my wife as her health prevents her from doing much each day, but I spend too much time doing household chores to look for extra work or earn some money with my blog.
Life is a beast I guess, but I look forward to better days ahead, and trust that eventually peace and positivity will return. Until then I still receive great joy from my ASEAN Hive work, and recently a modest income too, just enough to keep my family's heads above the water. This raffle is a labor of love for me, and I take no proceeds from it because I love giving back to those who make this community thrive. How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 170,400, and total delegated HP is 155,967 HP (119,798 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.

The US Visa process is really hard,they’re very strict, just like my mom when she applied a tourist visa and was disapproved. They said that she needs to tour another countries first before it is granted. But my sisters were approved when they applied.
I wish I could earn HP faster and be more active. Sometimes it’s hard for me when my baby is teething as she has a sleeping regression and she loves climbing these days.
The tourist visa is impossible I think, I've never known anybody to get one. My family and I only want to visit, but we didn't attempt the tourist visa because it requires the applicant possess a lot of wealth in their home country first. We have pursued the spousal visa with my stepdad as a sponsor, but even after 5 years we are facing constant setbacks, it's a nightmare.
Take your time and grow your account. 500 HP is a good milestone to work towards, I can still remember the satisfaction my first 500 HP brought me.
