Hello everyone. Today I will introduce and share photos of the atmosphere inside a temple in Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province. This temple is called wat som suk or wat phra that dong som suk. I visited this temple around December 15 last year. The reason why I haven't recommended and shared this temple to friends to get to know and see the atmosphere of this temple. Because I forgot to share with my friends, that day I went to many temples and attractions. But I have already shared and recommended other temples and attractions for that day trip.
Wat somsuk is located in Malika Subdistrict, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. Chiang mai - mae ai route, and route chiang mai rural road 4016 to wat som suk.
History of wat som suk.
Wat som suk is an old temple and this temple has many ancient ruins. According to the assumption that the construction of this temple should be around the middle of the 21st buddhist century. Therefore, this temple should be about 400 years old. In addition, Wat som suk is the temple where the largest number of ancient inscriptions on bricks in Thailand was discovered, about 200 pieces. The archaeological site at this temple was first officially surveyed in A.D. 1984 by the fine arts department of Thailand. This is a brief history of this temple.
Buildings inside wat som suk In addition to many ancient sites within this temple. Which is in ruins until only the remains of bricks. Inside the temple, there are many Buddha images for the Buddhists to pay their respects and respect and monk's cubicle.
This temple is a peaceful temple and the atmosphere around the temple is surrounded by agricultural areas. If you like temples that are hundreds of years old with many historical ancient sites and surrounded by nature and agricultural areas. I recommend this temple one more temple. I assure you that you will definitely like this temple.
