Aloha Surflimpo fam! What's up?
As agreed, we are bringing here a summary of our weekly Surflimpo Community meetings. If you haven't read any of our last recaps, check it out here.
Our meetings are being held weekly, and are more of a "community meeting". We are bringing news, partner projects to present themselves and leaving space for questions and suggestions.
As not everyone can participate, we will publish a "Surflimpo Community Meeting Summary" here and on our Discord, so you can stay on top of what's happening.
The Surflimpo Community Meeting takes place every Wednesday from 2 to 3 pm (Brazilian Standard Time, UTC-03:00) via Google Meet (access the meeting link here) and is held in PT-BR. Everyone is invited!
Surflimpo Community Meeting Summary (11/16/2022)
In our last meeting, we noticed that we are doing more onboarding (there are always new people coming - EMOJI) and we are always (re) presenting our tools (read more in this post). So we had some updates and some questions and took time to talk about POSH (Proof of sharing).

1. POSH - Proof of sharing
🔶 What is it?
As its name says, it is a way to share and promote Hive (a Web2 tool) on Web3 social networks such as Twitter, Instagram, Discord, Whatsapp, etc.
🔶 How it works?
Let's give an example of how it works when we share our content on Twitter. After making your post on Hive, share on your Twitter the link of your post along with the hashtag #hive. Ready! The bot will automatically share your tweet under the Hive post you shared, and you will earn tokens for it.
🔶 How to link accounts
You will only earn tokens if you first link your Twitter account to your Hive account. To do so, go to https://join.hiveposh.com/, click on “Join the app!”, log in with your Twitter account and choose the Hive account you want to link to your Twitter account. Now, publish your post and share it on Twitter!
🔶 Why is it important?
This increases and improves the reach and performance of your post on Hive. It also grabs the attention of content curators and shows that you're engaging with the community (and potentially bringing more people to the network).
2. General updates
🔶 Beach clean-ups
Worlpackers promoted a beach cleaning on 11/10 at Itamambuca beach on the coast of São Paulo - Brazil. There were approximately 40 volunteers, most of whom were locals and tourists in the region (that is, there was great engagement from the local community!). The Argonauta Institute came along with the partnership with a tent and promoted a lecture on environmental awareness. Itamambuca is already a very clean beach, and they collected only 12 kg of waste, most of which is recyclable. Anyone who participated in this action can claim DROPs!
🔶 Bazaar annoucement
Our friend @luizhadad announced that he intends to hold an end-of-year bazaar to sell everything he has (including a surfboard) and said he would only accept DROP and HIVE as payment for the items (I'm already looking forward to it 👀). This is an excellent way to encourage people to get more and more into this ecosystem! Well done, Luiz!
🔶 Live!
We had an Instagram live from @surfgurupro and @whosphilipp from DeTrash to talk about surfing, crypto, sustainability, and web3. The live was done in Portuguese and is saved on @surfgurupro's Instagram. The chat was very awesome, and the crowd tied themselves up. Watch here!
3. Agendas for the next meeting
Next week we will talk a little more about how we are managing to support the TPM Project – Todas para o Mar (a social project that uses surfing as an inclusion tool) with funding through Nouns DAO. And we'll take the opportunity to promote how this can have a positive impact on our sphere of the surfing world and care for the oceans.

Como combinado, estamos trazendo aqui um resumo dos nossos encontros semanais da Comunidade Surflimpo. Se não leu nenhum dos nossos últimos resumos, veja aqui.
Nossas reuniões estão sendo feitas semanalmente, e são mais um "encontro da comunidade". Estamos trazendo novidades, projetos parceiros para se apresentarem e deixando espaço para dúvidas e sugestões.
Como nem todos podem participar, vamos pubicar aqui e no nosso Discord um "Resumo da Reunião da Comunidade Surflimpo" para que vocês fiquem por dentro do que está acontecendo.

Na nossa última reunião percebemos que estamos fazendo mais onboardings (sempre tem gente nova chegando EMOJI) e sempre estamos (re)apresentando as nossas ferramentas (leia com mais detalhes nesse post). Então tivemos algumas atualizações, algumas pequenas dúvidas e tiramos um tempo para falar sobre POSH (Proof of sharing – ou “Prova de compartilhamento” em português)

1. POSH - Proof of sharing
🔶 O que é?
Como o próprio nome diz (prova de compartilhamento), é uma forma de promover a Hive (uma ferramenta da Web2) nas redes sociais da Web3, como o Twitter, Instagram, Discord, Whatsapp, etc.
🔶 Como funciona?
Vamos dar o exemplo de como funciona quando compartilhamos nossos conteúdos no Twitter. Após fazer o seu post na hive, compartilhe no seu Twitter o link do seu post juntamente com a hashtag #hive. Pronto! Automaticamente o “bot” vai compartilhar o seu tuíte abaixo do post da Hive que você compartilhou e você vai ganhar tokens por isso.
🔶 Como linkar as contas
Você só vai ganhar tokens se primeiro você fizer o link da sua conta do Twitter com a sua conta na Hive. Para isso entre na página https://join.hiveposh.com/, clique em “Join the app!”, faça o login com o seu Twitter e escolha a sua conta da Hive que você quer linkar com a sua conta do Twitter. Agora sim, publique seu post e compartilhe no Twitter!
🔶 Porque isso é importante?
Isso aumenta e melhora o alcance e a performance do seu post na Hive. Isso também chama a atenção dos curadores de conteúdo e mostra que você está engajando com a comunidade (e potencialmente trazendo mais pessoas para a rede).
2. Atualizações gerais
🔶 Limpezas de praia
A Worlpackers promoveu uma limpeza de praia no dia 10/11 na praia de Itamambuca no litoral de São Paulo. Tiveram aproximadamente 40 voluntários, sendo que a maioria deles eram moradores e turistas na região (ou seja, teve um grande engajamento da comunidade local!). O Instituo Argonauta chegou junto na parceria com uma tenda e promovendo uma palestra sobre conscientização ambienta. Itamambuca já é uma praia bem limpa e coletaram apenas 12 kg de resíduo, sendo a maioria reciclável. Quem participou dessa ação pode reivindicar DROPs!
🔶 Bazar à vista
Nosso amigo @luizhadad anunciou que pretende fazer um bazar de final de ano pra vender de tudo um pouco que ele tem (inclusive prancha de surf) e disse que só vai aceitar DROP e HIVE como pagamento pelos itens (eu já tô de olho! 👀). Essa é uma boa forma de incentivar a galera a entrar cada vez mais nesse ecossistema! Mandou bem Luiz!

Tivemos uma live no Instagram do @surfgurupro junto com o @whosphilipp da DeTrash para falar sobre surf, cripto, sustentabilidade e web3. A live foi feita em português e está salva no Instagram do @surfgurupro. O bate-papo foi muito irado e a galera se amarrou. Assista aqui!
3. Pautas para a próxima reunião
Na semana que vem vamos falar um pouco mais sobre como estamos conseguindo apoiar o Projeto TPM – Todas para o Mar (um projeto social que usa o surf como ferramenta de inclusão) com o financiamento através da Nouns DAO. E aproveitar pra promover como isso pode causar um impacto positivo nessa nossa esfera do mundo surf e de cuidado com os oceanos.
