Monomad: Loneliness Can Kill You

Melon ladybugs are common in our area. They are in the bushes that grow along both sides of our road. They are beetles who enjoy mating. Yeah, I've caught them countless times, but they ignore me and carry on to finish what they have started. This often makes me chuckle and mutter, "You guys are amazing!"

Here I share some macro photos of melon ladybugs. But not at the moment when they mate—just some lonely guys who are probably unlucky. Where are their dates? That's something beyond my reach.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All these photos are my original work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
