MONOMAD – Nature, Trees, and the Sky:

Pepohonan_02.jpg

Photographing nature with the main objects being trees and the sky has its own challenges which are not easy. Green trees combined with bluish skies and white clouds make a normative collaboration when photographed in black and white. With normal eye sight, maybe the beauty is immediately visible, but it's not in the form of a #monomad.

A photographer is required to have the sensitivity to shoot unique angles of trees against the backdrop of mountains and sky. If you take photos carelessly, the results will be monotonous, not interesting, not unique.

Yet in the art of black and white photography, nature opens itself as a serene symphony, displaying the beauty of the world in its purest form.

So, let me include two color photos here for comparison. That's not because I can't read the rules, but just pointing out the differences. Hopefully that's understandable.

The vast, boundless sky provides the perfect backdrop for nature's drama. In black and white, the clouds look like wisps of cotton floating above, carrying a message of eternity and serenity. The setting sun casts dramatic silhouettes, highlighting every contour of the clouds with almost magical beauty.

The trees stand tall, adding a dimension of life to the natural landscape. In black and white, their trunks and branches appear like gentle brush strokes, creating a harmony of power and elegance. Every sparkling leaf and every swaying leaf adds to the timeless beauty of the natural composition.

Then, there are natural wonders hidden in every corner. In black and white, the textures and patterns of nature emerge clearly, inviting us to reflect on the beauty that surrounds us.

Through black and white photography, we can explore the beauty of nature with greater depth. Each photo becomes a story, a record of the eternity and beauty that surrounds us every day. Like a work of art that never fades, black and white photography shows us the wonders of nature in an unforgettable way.
