Capturing corners of Barcelona, a delight in Black & White | MONOMAD Challenge
Hello dear friends of the Black and White community, today I participate in the #monomad challenge with these amazing photographs of beautiful Barcelona.
Sometimes when I'm walking around, I start capturing photos of objects and corners that I find beautiful, even of shop windows or patterns that I find on the street, as is the case of this motorcycle.
Somehow, while walking, these elements start to appear and as soon as I see them, a part of my mind visualizes them directly in black and white.

Capturando rincones de Barcelona, una delicia en Blanco y Negro | DESAFÍO MONOMAD
Hola queridos amigos de la comunidad de Black and White, hoy participo del #monomad challenge con estas increíbles fotografías de la bella Barcelona.
A veces cuando ando paseando, empiezo a capturar fotos de objetos y rincones que me parecen bonitos, incluso de vidrieras o de patrones que encuentro por la calle, como es el caso de esta motocicleta.
De alguna manera, en las caminatas empiezan a aparecer estos elementos que en cuanto los veo, una parte de mi mente directamente los visualiza en blanco y negro.
Sometimes it's two images, then they need to wait for me to take a few more so they can keep each other company in a publication. Other times the whole series appears in one walkthrough.
In this case, I put together shots from about three walks I took over two days.
Their nature does not fit at all with the spirit of publications that by themselves had reached their object of analysis and presentation, and especially did not fit in this details of having been born in black and white in my imagination.
I think that monochromatic has certain capabilities that the different colors do not reach: they make the photo look fine, they make it look clean, sometimes we see expressions that escape completely in the colors, and sometimes this range of grays transports us to another stage.
A veces son dos imágenes, entonces necesitan esperar a que tome algunas otras para poderse hacer compañía en alguna publicación. Otras veces aparece la serie completa en una sola caminata.
En este caso, reuní tomas de unas tres caminatas que realicé a lo largo de dos días.
Su naturaleza no pegan en absoluto con el espíritu de publicaciones que por sí solas habían alcanzado su objeto de análisis y de presentación, y en especial no encajaban por este detalles de haber nació en blanco y negro en mi imaginario.
Creo que el monocromático tiene ciertas capacidades que los diferentes colores no alcanzan: hacen que la foto se vea fina, que se vea limpia, a veces vemos expresiones que se escapan por completo en los colores, y además otras veces esta gama de grises nos transporta a otra etapa.
In this opportunity, in these images, I think there is a strong presence of delicacy and details that make the shots very rich in content.
For example, the open book seems to have stopped in a story, and with it the urban elements seem to have been dancing around this book, before petrifying in the monochromatic shot.
And look at what the music venue is. Not only is it a beautiful work full of magic where they sell elements of yesteryear, but the black and white offers us this possibility to feel a little trip back in time.
En esta oportunidad, en estas imágenes, creo que hay una fuerte presencia de la delicadeza y de los detalles que hacen a las tomas, muy ricas en contenido.
Por ejemplo el libro abierto parece haberse detenido en una historia, y con él los elementos urbanos parecen haber estado danzando alrededor de este libro, antes de petrificarse en la toma monocromática.
Y miren lo que es el local de música. No solo se trata de una preciosa obra repleta de magia en donde venden elementos de antaño, sino que el blanco y negro nos ofrece esta posibilidad de sentir un pequeño viaje en el tiempo.
The statues also, in their already ivory color taken to a chalk white in these shots, fall in love, especially those found in the squares and hiding behind the shadows of those trees that the autumn of December had to share.
