I also have the easiest access to Black Sea, which is about 45 mins by car. The another one is Marmara Sea about 20 mins. Both is available for swimming, but Black Sea is better because it is outside of city, Istanbul. However, Black Sea is know for dangerious waves and it is hard to find the calm.
Well, you get to the sea much easier.
