El 8 de Marzo día internacional de la mujer es una fecha que busca concientizar sobre los desafíos que aún enfrentan las mujeres en términos de igualdad de género.
La lucha de las mujeres viene desde hace muchísimos años atrás, desde que sus sueños, metas y ambisiones no tenían significado en la sociedad, desde que para ser escritoras o investigadoras científicas tenían que esconderse tras un seudónimo varonil para que sus escrituras tuviesen valor.
Desde que éramos consideradas solo amas de casa, pues imaginar a una mujer empoderada capaz de ser o hacer lo que quisiera, era una atrocidad.
Aún así lo logramos, la misión no era superar al hombre, sino, igualarlo en cuanto a derechos y condiciones. Ser capaz de ser más que un ama de casa, una mujer con sueños, con metas, con aspiraciones, con la capacidad y el derecho de hacer y deshacer con su vida y ser capaz de recibir admiracion y respeto por sus exitos en el camino.
Algunas mujeres admirables cuyos aportes han marcado un cambio en la historia son:
Marie Curie, química y científica, desarrollo la teoría de la radioactividad y es considera madre de ciencia moderna
Hedy Lamarr, Actriz e inventora del espectro ensanchado por salto de frecuencia, una tecnología utilizada para el Bluetooth y el wifi
Mary Jackson, la primera mujer afroamericana en trabajar como ingeniera aeroespacial en la NASA, en 1958
Frida Kahlo, quién además de ser una increible pintora, se convirtió en un símbolo de feminismo y de valía para muchas mujeres.
Y así como ellas muchas más hicieron un increíble trabajo para hoy poder gozar de todos los derechos que tenemos, sin embargo, la violencia en contra de la mujer sigue siendo tema del día a día, según reportes globales, 1 de cada 3 mujeres sufren o sufrieron algún acto de violencia.
Cada día hay más feminicidios, cada día hay más desaparecidas y si, se que es un tema delicado pero no podemos simplemente evitarlo, hoy es un día de reflexión, como mujer quiero respeto para todas, ya basta de justificar la violencia, ya basta de odiarnos, criticarnos y juzgarnos unas con otras.
Recuerda que solo vez una parte de ella, no has visto sus luchas, no has visto sus caídas, no has visto su logros, no conoces el trasfondo... JUNTAS SOMOS MÁS, la SORORIDAD debería ser un término que inculcaramos a las niñas, a las jóvenes e incluso a nosotras misma porque a veces olvidamos que detrás de cada mujer hay una lucha interna para enfrentar lo prejuicios aún existentes del día a día
La violencia no solo es agresión física (daña tu cuerpo), puede ser psicológica (daña tu autoestima), Sexual (se apropia de tu sexualidad), Simbolica (Refuerza roles y estereotipos), también patrimonial y económica (se apropia del dinero y los bienes).
Te invito a investigar y aprender un poco más.
Por allí leí que hoy no se celebra, se conmemora, se reflexiona, se recuerda y que por ello NO se felicita, sin embargo, yo creo que como mujeres nos deberíamos felicitar día a día por nuestros logros sean grandes o pequeños porque aunque que parezca controversial y tal vez suene muy feminista, ser mujer no es fácil.
Por eso felicito a todas las mujeres trabajadoras, luchadoras, madres, hijas, abuelas, a las que van contra la corriente en pro de cumplir sus sueños, a las que no se dan por vencidas, a las que a diario se enfrentan a hombres con el "Gen" machista en todo su esplendor, a las que hoy decidieron poner fin a esa relación tóxica, a las que sobrevivieron a un acto de crueldad, a las que dieron a luz y sobrevivieron a ese parto de alto riesgo o a la anestesia, las que pudieron llegar a sus casas a salvo, a TODAS nosotras mujeres, nos merecemos unas felicitaciones no por ser mujer, sino por estar de pie frente a todas las adversidades que implica el ser una mujer.

Remember that you only see a part of her, you haven't seen her struggles, you haven't seen her falls, you haven't seen her achievements, you don't know the background? TOGETHER WE ARE MORE, SORORITY should be a term that we instill in girls, young women and even in ourselves because sometimes we forget that behind every woman there is an internal struggle to confront the prejudices that still exist in everyday life.
Violence is not only physical aggression (it damages your body), it can be psychological (it damages your self-esteem), Sexual (it appropriates your sexuality), Symbolic (it reinforces roles and stereotypes), also patrimonial and economic (it appropriates money and goods).

I read that today is not celebrated, it is commemorated, reflected upon, remembered and therefore NOT congratulated, however, I believe that as women we should congratulate ourselves every day for our achievements, big or small, because although it may seem controversial and perhaps it sounds very feminist, being a woman is not easy.
That is why I congratulate all working women, fighters, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, those who go against the current in order to fulfill their dreams, those who do not give up, those who daily face men with the macho "Gen" in all its splendor, those who today decided to put an end to that toxic relationship, to those who survived an act of cruelty, to those who gave birth and survived that high-risk delivery or anesthesia, to those who were able to get home safely, to ALL of us women, we deserve congratulations not for being women, but for standing up in the face of all the adversities that being a woman implies.
