Un método de estudio que me funcionó muchísimo en los últimos años de bachillerato fue ayudar a mis compañeros de clases explicándoles los temas y ejercicios que no entendían en clases, esto me ayudaba a repasar y era mi forma de prepararme para las evaluaciones sin necesidad de sentarme a estudiar; realmente tengo casi 10 años que no estudio o me aprendo un tema de la forma tradicional.
En la universidad no había tenido la necesidad de hacer esto mismo, debido a que las evaluaciones en UNEARTE se basan, mayormente, en la realización de proyectos, entrega de trabajos o ensayos y algunas exposiciones.
A study method that worked for me a lot in the last years of high school was to help my classmates by explaining the topics and exercises that they didn't understand in class, this helped me to review and was my way of preparing for the evaluations without having to sit down to study; actually I have almost 10 years that I don't study or learn a topic in the traditional way.
In college I had not had the need to do the same, because the evaluations in UNEARTE are based, mostly, in the realization of projects, delivery of work or essays and some exhibitions.
Los martes tengo clases de Cinematografía II y de Edición No Lineal, dos materias que realmente no necesito cursar porque mi experiencia laboral ya me ha ensañado casi todo lo que se ve en esas clases pero la universidad me las exige y nunca está demás repasar; lo curioso de todo esto es que en esas clases estamos los del Pensum 2013 y los nuevos de 2023, los cuales tienen una pésima preparación porque su malla curricular es muy deficiente.
Es complicado tener que explicar fundamentos básicos de una materia cuando se supone que ya para el semestre que se está cursando, se sabe de sobra; tanto el profesor como varios de mis compañeros es frustrante tener que retrasar todo por la mala gestión de la universidad así que, para hacer todo más ameno, un amigo y yo nos ofrecimos a dar clases cortas y concisas sobre temas básicos como Iluminación, Movimientos de Cámara, Encuadres y otros más importantes.
On Tuesdays I have Cinematography II and Non-Linear Editing classes, two subjects that I don't really need to take because my work experience has taught me almost everything that is seen in those classes but the university requires them and it is never too much to review; the curious thing about all this is that in those classes we are those of Pensum 2013 and the new ones of 2023, which have a very poor preparation because their curriculum is very deficient.
It is complicated to have to explain basic fundamentals of a subject when it is assumed that for the semester you are taking, you already know a lot; both the professor and several of my classmates is frustrating to have to delay everything because of the poor management of the university so, to make everything more enjoyable, a friend and I offered to give short and concise classes on basic topics such as Lighting, Camera Movements, Framing and other more important ones.
Fue bastante divertido, aunque admito que en ciertos momentos perdí la paciencia porque no todos estaban prestando atención o se lo tomaban en serio pero por eso las personas se especializan con pedagogías necesarias y cubrir esas problemáticas; el profesor nos felicitó por nuestra iniciativa y lo bien que explicamos los temas aunque solo pudimos enseñar los fundamentos básicos de la Iluminación en el cine.
Me preocupa un poco lo mal preparados que están los nuevos ingresos y los del Pensum 2023 pero hay cosas que se nos escapan de las manos totalmente; a varios amigos y a mí nos han ofrecido la oportunidad de dar clases en la universidad pero, por mí parte, no sé si realmente quiera a menos que me acrediten para poder graduarme más rápido.
It was quite fun, although I admit that at certain moments I lost my patience because not everyone was paying attention or taking it seriously but that's why people specialize with necessary pedagogies and cover those issues; the professor congratulated us for our initiative and how well we explained the topics although we could only teach the basic fundamentals of Lighting in film.
I am a little concerned about how poorly prepared the new entrants and those in the Pensum 2023 are but there are things that are totally out of our hands; several friends and I have been offered the opportunity to teach at the university but, for my part, I don't know if I really want to unless I get accredited so I can graduate faster.
Realmente dar clases me gusta, aunque tengo que prepararme mejor y desarrollar más la paciencia, admito que me divertí bastante dando la clase de Iluminación como también me acordé de muchas técnicas que son fundamentales para ciertos géneros cinematográficos.

I really like teaching, although I have to prepare myself better and develop more patience, I admit that I had a lot of fun teaching the Lighting class as I also remembered many techniques that are fundamental for certain film genres.
