Hola Hivers,
¿Cómo lavar adecuadamente nuestras frutas y vegetales?
Espero tus valiosos comentarios.

CHANGES IN MY FOOD PURCHASES
Hi Hivers,
One of the things you learn in the 21-day program to heal the body is to change the way you shop at the market. The first step to have a healthier and more nutritious diet is just knowing how to choose the right ingredients to prepare meals; You have to know how to shop!
It seems silly; but it is really important and extremely difficult to choose correctly. Many times, advertising, the attractiveness of the packaging and the state of mind intervene in our purchase decision. For example, if you go to the market with an empty stomach, you can buy excess food that can cause an unbalanced diet.
The first thing to do is to make a shopping list, thinking about the nutrients that each food provides to the body. I did it with the recommendations of @naturapeutica. I went to Makro, a wholesale self-service store, to buy the ingredients for this week's challenge. This mall offers a variety of vegetables and fruits, they are very fresh, and, of course, at an affordable price.
My list was:
✅ Broccoli.
✅ Garlic
✅ Spinach
✅ Avocado
✅ Chives
✅ Onion
✅ Tomatoes
✅ Paprika
✅ Cucumber
✅ Parsley
✅ Cilantro
✅ Carrot
✅ Green banana
✅ Lemon
✅ Green apples
✅ Coconut
✅ Olives
✅ Mushroom / Mushrooms
✅ Almonds
✅ Oats
✅ Chickpeas
Another recommendation is to wash vegetables and fruits very well when you get home, so you save a step when you are going to make any preparation.
How to properly wash our fruits and vegetables?
In a large bowl with filtered water and place a tablespoon of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
In the faucet wash all your fruits and vegetables very well to remove the dirt and then immerse them in the previously prepared water. Leave them there for about 5 minutes.
Finally, drain them well and they are ready to be stored in the refrigerator, in plastic bags, separated the vegetables and fruits.
When you go shopping, think about the variety and multiple flavors that all these foods can bring to our dishes. It's healthier and natural! Thanks for reading this far. I look forward to your valuable comments.
