As someone who worked in the Oil and Gas industry for a couple of years, a fun part of it for me was attending amazing events and connecting with people across the industry.

I got to even be part of the organizers of a few of those events and Oh my, it was worth the full experience. You get to work with great minds and connect on different levels. It is simply amazing.

For my first SPIE Oil and Gas Conference, my company was exhibiting its products, and based on my role in the company I was required to be in attendance. Of course, I grabbed the opportunity with both hands and legs.
En mi primera Conferencia de Petróleo y Gas de la SPIE, mi empresa exponía sus productos y, debido a mi función en la empresa, debía asistir. Por supuesto, aproveché la oportunidad con ambas manos y piernas.
Besides people from other companies within the industry, students in STEM were also on their excursion here. I got to explain cool stuff about my company and what we do and it was a worthwhile experience.
Además de gente de otras empresas del sector, también estaban de excursión estudiantes de STEM. Pude explicar cosas interesantes sobre mi empresa y lo que hacemos, y fue una experiencia que valió la pena.
Joining great minds to showcase the latest interdisciplinary innovations across a wide range of cutting-edge technologies was quite an exposing and insightful experience at these industry-leading exhibitions.
Unirse a grandes mentes para mostrar las últimas innovaciones interdisciplinares en una amplia gama de tecnologías de vanguardia fue una experiencia bastante reveladora y perspicaz en estas exposiciones líderes del sector.
