Siempre me consideré una chica de ciudad, si le dijera a mi yo del pasado que vivimos en el medio del bosque, no me lo creería. Si le dijera que el verde predomina en todas partes, que los conejos y las ardillas se pasean libremente por nuestro patio, que la lluvia golpea la ventana y la brisa casi pronuncia nuestro nombre, diría que estoy loca.
Si le dijera que cada mañana el día nos sorprende con algo diferente, un ave con un azul vibrante, o una flor que decidió ver la luz del sol con un cálido blanco entusiasta, que un grupo de ciervos ha usado nuestro patio para descansar o que a las 7pm algún árbol desprende un aroma a vainilla con caramelo, ella no lo creería. La Virginia del pasado jamás creería que existen atardeceres violetas con destellos color miel, y que los árboles casi puedo escucharlos hablar.
Se reiría si le dijera que los zorros son preciosos y que caminan de puntitas, que los coyotes son más pequeños de lo que pensábamos y que las tortugas parecieran que tuvieron una cita con Pablo Picasso. Me gustaría decirle que somos felices y que pronto todo pasara, que sea paciente y que tenga fe en ella misma y sobre todo en el maravilloso Creador de todo esto que hoy nos rodea, Dios.
También le diría que las arañas tienen mejores glúteos que Beyonce. que las abejas son extremadamente grandes y que lucharan con nuestro esposo para apoderarse de los espacios del garaje,(y que él va perdiendo jajaja). Le diría que la vida es hermosa y que este lugar es lo que siempre quisimos y nunca lo supimos.
El titulo de mi post "LA TIERRA TIENE MÚSICA PARA LOS QUE ESCUCHAN" fue escrito por George Santayana, un filosofo, poeta y novelista el cual admiro mucho.

If I told her that green predominates everywhere, that rabbits and squirrels roam freely in our yard, that the rain hits the window and the breeze almost calls our name, she would say I was crazy.
If I told you that every morning the day surprises us with something different, a bird with a vibrant blue, or a flower that decided to see the sunlight with a warm enthusiastic white, that a group of deer has used our yard to rest or that at 7pm some tree gives off a scent of vanilla with caramel,she wouldn't believe me. The Virginia of the past would never believe that there are violet sunsets with honey-colored sparkles, and that the trees can almost hear them talking.
She would laugh if I told her that foxes are cute and walk on their toes, that coyotes are smaller than we thought, and that turtles look like they had a date with Pablo Picasso. *I would like to tell her that we are happy and that soon everything will pass, that she should be patient and have faith in herself and above all in the wonderful Creator of all this that surrounds us today, God.****
I would also tell her that spiders have better buttocks than Beyonce. that bees are extremely large and that they will fight with our husband to take over the garage spaces,(and he is losing hahaha). **I would tell her that life is beautiful and that this place is what we always wanted and never knew it.****
The title of my post “THE EARTH HAS MUSIC FOR THOSE WHO LISTEN” was written by George Santayana, a philosopher, poet and novelist whom I admire very much.
