Me resulta interesante uno de los cuestionamientos que nos hace el equipo de #EmpowerTalent, al solicitarnos que preguntemos a nuestros allegados sobre nuestros talentos o como bien lo expresan ¿Qué talento ellos ven en ti?, pero antes de responder a esta interrogante, debemos saber que los talentos son capacidades innatas, pero igual necesitan estimulación y práctica para desarrollarse.
En este sentido, cuando voy a la reflexión, me doy cuenta que de cierta manera me he convertido en una persona polifacética capaz de cumplir diversos roles en mi ámbito familiar, pero esto no todo el tiempo fue así, ya que, en medio de mi juventud, reconozco que era muy tranquilo y solo hacia cosas que estuvieran en mi zona de comodidad y que por supuesto no ameritara tanto esfuerzo.
Y es contradictorio, porque en mi mismo vecindario, en mi misma casa vivía un ser especial y no era un súper héroe con capa, ni mucho menos un mago con una varita mágica, pero tenía habilidades que le permitía cumplir con casi cualquier trabajo que se le asignara, este súper hombre se llamaba Nacho y si era mi Padre.
Creo que en algún punto, la genética se dañó en medio del camino, porque en lo personal me centre por vivir más cómodo, me centre en estudiar y prepararme, ya que mi mensaje todo el tiempo fue que no trabajaría aguantando sol, ya que mi madre no había tenido un bulto de tejas, la verdad ahora que lo pienso este pensamiento tan despectivo de mi parte no fue problema para mis padres, ya que ellos siempre se enfocaron en darme lo que necesitaba, creo que fueron consientes en aceptar que todo era cuestión de diseño.
Sin embargo, todos sabemos que, como humanos, nacemos, crecemos y nos desarrollamos y en este punto, cuando la madurez llega, nos damos cuenta que ahora tienes una familia con hijos incluidos donde la cabeza de hogar eres tú y gran parte de las responsabilidades del hogar son tuyas y tus pensamientos despectivos ya no tienen lugar en tu nueva realidad.
Y es en ese momento cuando nos hacemos consientes y los talentos ocultos empiezan a aparecer como destellos y ahora, sin explicación y conocimiento alguno, somos capaz de arreglar una tubería, soldar una baranda de hierro, reparar una computadora o quizás hasta diseñar una página web, la verdad parece que no hay trabajo que no me atreva a realizar.
Y es en este punto, donde verdaderamente reconozco que esa genética y los conocimientos de mi padre siempre estuvieron impresos en mi ADN, y solo basto con el hecho de asumir responsabilidad para que esos talentos emergieran, la verdad hoy por hoy pienso que, en medio de un mundo tan cambiante, cualquiera habilidad que podemos aprender es crucial y nos brinda una gran ventaja a lo largo de nuestra vida.
Ahora bien, otro de mis talentos, es la determinación para aprender, pero sobre todo la excelencia para alcanzarlo, ya que me dedico a esa habilidad hasta desarrollarla a plenitud, de modo que tenemos que recordar seguir adelante, haciendo lo que mejor sabes hacer, ayudando a los demás de la mejor manera posible y sin esperar nada a cambio, esto como un recordatorio de que la versatilidad y la amabilidad pueden ser habilidades tan valiosas como cualquier otra y que debemos aprender a desarrollar y explotar.

I find interesting one of the questions that the #EmpowerTalent team asks us, asking us to ask our close ones about our talents or, as they say, "What talent do they see in you?", but before answering this question, we must know that talents are innate abilities, but they still need stimulation and practice to develop.
In this sense, when I go to reflect, I realize that in a way I have become a multifaceted person capable of fulfilling various roles in my family environment, but this was not always so, since, in the midst of my youth, I recognize that I was very quiet and only did things that were in my comfort zone and that of course did not deserve so much effort.
And it is contradictory, because in my same neighborhood, in my same house lived a special being and he was not a super hero with a cape, much less a magician with a magic wand, but he had abilities that allowed him to accomplish almost any job assigned to him, this super man was called Nacho and he was my father.
I think that at some point, genetics got damaged in the middle of the road, because personally I focused on living more comfortably, I focused on studying and preparing myself, since my message all the time was that I would not work under the sun, since my mother had not had a lump of tiles, the truth now that I think about it, this derogatory thought on my part was not a problem for my parents, since they always focused on giving me what I needed, I think they were conscious in accepting that everything was a matter of design.
However, we all know that, as humans, we are born, grow and develop and at this point, when maturity comes, we realize that you now have a family with children included where the head of the household is you and much of the household responsibilities are yours and your derogatory thoughts no longer have a place in your new reality.
And it is at that moment when we become aware and hidden talents begin to appear as flashes and now, without explanation and knowledge, we are able to fix a pipe, weld an iron railing, repair a computer or perhaps even design a web page, the truth seems that there is no work that I dare not do.
And it is at this point, where I truly recognize that my father's genetics and knowledge were always imprinted in my DNA, and it was only enough to take responsibility for those talents to emerge, the truth today I think that, in the midst of such a changing world, any skill we can learn is crucial and gives us a great advantage throughout our lives.
Now, another of my talents, is the determination to learn, but above all the excellence to achieve it, since I dedicate myself to that skill until I develop it to the fullest, so we have to remember to go ahead, doing what you do best, helping others in the best way possible and without expecting anything in return, this as a reminder that versatility and kindness can be skills as valuable as any other and that we must learn to develop and exploit.

Gracias mi querido Madrid por unirte al ejercicio, pese a que te costara un poco. Quizás podemos llegar a pensar que los demás no perciben nuestros talentos, por ello la importancia de saber quienes somos y de reconocernos a nosotros mismos, como un espejo.
