Good day fellow hivers, welcome to my blog. I cleaned the environment today. I picked up the litter within the community and packed the waste into a garbage bag , then I disposed it off correctly.
Providing enough garbage bins in town centers, walking routes, public spaces, and near bus stops, as well as fast-food restaurants is a great way to eliminate and dispose of waste. The bins must be emptied regularly to avoid additional problems as a result of overfilling. The existence of garbage bins, on the other hand, does not guarantee that the garbage will not be thrown into the streets. People will be urged not to litter in public and private spaces by enforcing strict litter regulations. Such laws aim to discourage illicit waste and littering.
Littering fines and other sanctions should be taken. For example, the first case of littering will be punishable by fines , as well as at least eight hours of community service to cleanup litter. While fines have a significant effect on littering, education and awareness are vital. Community clean-up activities can be a cost-effective way to spread anti-litter messages in the community. In addition, an anti-littering banner could be placed in heavily littered areas, such as the streets near public transportation stops. These signs are used to remind people that littering is a dangerous activity that should be avoided. Let's encouraging everyone to dispose off litter properly.
