Good day, my dear people of the @cleanplanet community. Today is a wonderful day for me and I hope yours must be more than mine.
This weekend, we are planning the birthday party of my nephew which will take place on Monday. Because of this, we had to do a house cleanup. I did the sweeping and mopping. Since the house cleaning activity was shared among us, I was free after mopping the floors.
I left the house on Church Road and did my cleaning activity down the street. I went down there with my waste basket since it wasn't far from home. After picking up wraps till my bag was filled, I placed the bag in the basket and took it to my burning point.
Most of the trash I picked was mainly wraps of eatables such as bread, biscuits, sachet water, beverage packs, yogurt wraps and a few plastic bottles.
I am very sure the yogurt wraps must have come from the church members who patronize the yogurt sellers after every service.
This is the picture of the street before I started picking. The trash was mainly congested at the road corners due to the breeze from moving cars which must have moved them off the main road.
Here is the street after my picking exercise. I am happy for such an opportunity as this given to me by the @cleanplanet community, to share my charity exercise of having my surroundings clean.
