The Desire to be permanently Young

in Proof of Brain10 months ago

I happened to watch this reel on Instagram about 1 person who is around 50 years and he wants to look like a 20-year-old. For that he has been doing what not and not to forget spending a bomb of money. From morning to night, he is only involved in activities which help him turn younger. He consumes around 50 supplements in a day. I find these things quite crazy. It's just not about him, there are so many people out in the world today who want to look young forever. Even I like to look young, I will not deny and I do some natural therapies also, but I will not go the Botox way or any other such medical treatments to look young.

I believe that aging is a natural process which every single individual will have to go through and it should be accepted gracefully. Whether it is about greying hair or sagging skin. If I cannot accept my own-self for who I am and for who I am becoming physically with age, then how can I accept anything around me.

Antiaging products are a big-time market these days. As science and technology advances, we want to start defying the natural processes. What I have seen is that people who do all these surgeries and treatment it shows on them, they start looking artificial after a point of time, because while your face may show younger in some or the other way your body does show up your age. If you need to look young you need to work on your overall body and just not the appearance. You need to work on your internals more than your externals. If the internal system works well, it will automatically show up on your outer appearance and you will not have to struggle to look young.

I also feel that social media is a big-time influencer on this matter. They keep promoting these beauty and antiaging products and celebrities endorse them. Common people when they look at these visuals they get carried away. Most of these products are fake and they do not work. If one wants to reverse ageing, then it cannot happen only with Botox and fillers. It has to be a total lifestyle change. Your diet plays a very big role. The NAD levels in your body have to be good, because they will determine the speed of aging for you. The lesser the NAD levels the faster the aging. Which does not mean you can reverse it again just by taking NAD supplements. Again, that needs a lot of other support, because only consuming NAD supplements may harm other organs of the body.

The most natural way to raise the NAD levels is by doing exercise, getting good amount of sleep, eating healthy foods and avoiding alcohol and other substances. With all of these even when you age it will be a graceful aging. Your whole-body energy should resonate with your appearance and it should just not be the appearance that's taken care of while the rest is ignored. No matter whatever you do in some or the other way your age will catch up with you and show you your real face.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

That is true. taking care of your body is the best way but it is very difficult when you have work. :(

Yes, but it is important also, so one has to remove time in busy schedules also

I have to admit. I'm also buying facial product to look young but wow 50 supplements a day. wouldn't it affect our kidneys?

That's what one has to understand about supplements that it has to be taken in a lot of various combinations which supports each other's functions. Well this guy he surely knows what he is doing so he has taken all those measures.

I think we should take a balance diet and do some exercise rather than spending a huge amount on products to look beautiful

Absolutely, maintaining a right balance will bring good health and make us look good also

Yes, and you look young too 😀💫

Science evolution has made a lot of things happen just like a man trying to become a woman, the aspect of looking younger, even though the young look is there, the strength which the old age cant withstand wont be there and i know more money are been consumed on all this things

Exactly, you can do things for your looks but if you do not work on the strength then it will show up

And the consequence will be much

Hehe I also have seen someone doing like that 🤣🤣

It's a desire for many. But we can do nothing but eating healthy food and performing some natural therapy; it may help look a little younger than others. But We won't see any change in a day or week. It is useful if we do it continuously from the beginning. Irony is that we never care about it when we are young..

Very rightly said, it is for years what you have followed will start showing up when you cross 50s and up, and then you cannot suddenly change things for yourself.

Wise words that need to be spoken aloud.
There is no use pretending to be of age, when internally everything is in decline.
The thing is that most people think about old age when it is just around the corner, and we should create awareness from a young age, that the care for those golden years must start much earlier.

Right, it is something that we need to start dealing with when we are in our 20s and 30s and not when we get into our 50s which ideally people do. In early ages we are very carefree and do not think much about it

The internals do go a long way in affecting the externals. It's mostly what we take in, our eating sleeping and even work out routine that goes a long way in redefining us and helps us age better.

I know everyone is entitled to do whatever they want to their body but going the Botox way regularly almost never turns out right. And it's sad that things like this are encouraged.

It has it's own side effects and when you stop doing these treatments skin sags more then what it would in normal circumstances

It's a lost cause, especially the approach he's taking. Imagine having to keep up with this for the remainder of one's old age without achieving any lasting results. I also think it's much better to take a wholistic approach rather than worrying about appearance. It kind of signals an over attachment to the physical body.

That's true, how long can one only focus on this part of life and all the time do things to keep one's self looking young. Some psycho behaviors people show

Exactly, exercise plays a big role in keeping one young as I have seen in the lives of many elderlies around me. I wish the alarm can be sounded a bit louder. Thanks for sharing such wonderful pieces of writing 💕
