How are you all friends, it's the first Friday in July, and on this occasion I will share some pictures of the gill mushrooms that I got, they seemed to be just starting to grow when I found them, this is my contribution to #fungifriday by @ewkaw
Gymnopilus is a genus of gill fungus in the mushroom family Strophariaceae containing about 200 species of rust-orange spore fungi previously divided between Pholiota and the defunct genus Flammula. Fruit bodies are usually reddish brown to rusty orange to yellow, medium to large, often with a well-developed veil. Most members of Gymnopilus grow on wood but may occasionally appear terrestrial if the wood is buried or rotting. Members Pholiota and Cortinarius easily confused Gymnopilus. Pholiota is distinguishable by its lumpy cap and duller (brown to cinnamon brown) spores, and Cortinarius grows in soil. Beginners may confuse Gymnopilus with Galerina, which contains deadly poisonous species

A log became the location that they wanted to make their glorious kingdom, tens or even hundreds of small mushrooms were seen growing around the entire trunk of this tree, the pink color that was seen on this young mushroom was very beautiful, and at a glance it looked very much like a strawberry
When I found them, they weren't in bloom at all, and there was no way to see the shape of the gills. Although this is a luxe kingdom of gill mushrooms, some of the young mushrooms that were growing were no less interesting to look at.
It's all the young mushrooms that are scattered in all corners of this kingdom, and they look so extraordinary, it's as if we're looking at a teapot cake on top of a hill😅
The red or purple color on them seems to be the influence of the rain, because when I found it the rain had just stopped, but for sure I also can't be sure, because as we know, Gymnopilus is a type of mushroom consisting of hundreds of species.
Whatever the shape and type, the important thing is that this mushroom looks beautiful and attractive, even though there isn't even the slightest part of the gills visible, the shape of the umbrella alone is enough to amaze me, with unique patterns and colors, and the size is not too big
