Since I am on "On Call Duty" today I had some time to look through the pictures I made in Hungary at Lake Balaton this year in spring. And I have to say that I am very happy with the results since I was able to see so many different animals and could take some nice pictures of them. I will definitely come back there and hope that I will be so lucky the next time also. But Spring is usually a good time for some bird and wildlifephotography since a lot of birds are migrating and mating during this time and this helps me to make some really great pictures of them.
I was happy to take some pictures of an White Tailed Eagle, some ground squirrels, buffalos, the little Egret, the grey heron, a nightingale, grey cattle and bee eaters and a lot more. So I think it can be a nice spot for a wildlifephotographer even if there are only a few spot where you are able to take some pictures like these and a lot of other spots are more touristic and for swimming and sailing, party.

Nice post. European Beeaters are my "heartthrob" heavy exoticism of the distant Romania of my youth. The eagle is a beautiful catch too, of course. There are plenty of them in South Bohemia, but a good photo with a white tail is rare.
