RE: 📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 77

in PhotoFeed2 months ago

Many thanks for appreciating the African bush, animals and a love of wildlife.

My entry round 77: Ambling along late afternoon drive we enjoyed a large herd of Kudu cross the road ahead of us. Waiting approximately half an hour watching them merge out of deep bush male, female and young calves.

Did you know there are two species of antelope of the genus Tragelaphus: Lesser kudu, Tragelaphus imberbis, of eastern Africa Greater kudu, Tragelaphus strepsiceros, of eastern and southern Africa The two species look similar, though greaters are larger than lessers. - source Wikiwand
