Hello everyone! This is week-003 of our weekend thread contest. Our aim in the Hive Learners community is to promote engagement, interaction, and fun while also providing a healthy environment for Hiveans to grow and explore their potential. And in that light, we bring to you yet another initiative to spur another form of creativity and camaraderie among users in the community:
ℍ𝕀𝕍𝔼 𝕃𝔼𝔸ℝℕ𝔼ℝ𝕊 𝕎𝔼𝔼𝕂𝔼ℕ𝔻 𝕄𝕀ℕ𝕀 ℂ𝕆ℕ𝕋𝔼𝕊𝕋
Generally, the idea is to thread, thread, and thread your way this weekend surrounding the topic given—which we will get to in a minute—engage with other threads by other users, and promote the spirit of engagement. It's a fun activity, and we invite you to join in.
One special comment, many users were using outsourced pictures/photographs, which is not forbidden, if the member shares the source of the image.
For last week's topic, "ᴛᴇʟʟ ᴜs ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ʏᴏᴜʀ ғᴀᴠᴏᴜʀɪᴛᴇ ᴅɪsʜ ɪɴ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴄᴏᴜɴᴛʀʏ," just like we mentioned in our announcement post last Thursday. We had only 6 participants and 8 prizes to distribute, for this reason two HBD winners will win 5 LEO each. The contest was interesting and had users sharing their preferred local food, we could learn a lot about food around the world. Food from Nigeria, Brazil, and Pakistan were some of the examples.
Winners
In his thread, @michupa showed us this Brazilian delicacy called Coxinha. This fried dough filled traditionally with chicken can be also replaced by meat or shrimp as the author mentioned. The thread was pretty interesting with 6 threads, showing that the author is used to using this type of Hive tool. So like the author said, "Long life to Coxinha", the most traditional symbol in Brazil.
The pounded yam with egusi soup from the user @sholex94 brought salivating users to this thread. However, the dish looked very heavy to eat in the morning as the author said. But it has a beautiful presentation and looks like a pretty authentic dish from Nigeria. The pounded yam looks like a heavy mashed potato that for sure will fill our bellies for a while.

The Byriani looks like a fantastic Asian dish. This imposing Pakistani dish is made with rice, spices, and meat. The author @ayesha-malik mentions that it is delicious, who are we to go against that? The dish also caused some engagement by the users, including @les90 who stated that is her favorite local dish as well. For sure it is a basic mix of ingredients that can't go wrong.
