Hive Learners Weekend Thread Contest | Week - 035

in Hive Learnerslast month

Hello everyone! This is week-35 of the Weekend Threading powered by InLeo.

Our aim in the Hive Learners community is to promote engagement, interaction, and fun while also providing a healthy environment for Hivers to grow and explore their potential. And in that light, we bring to you yet another initiative to spur another form of creativity and camaraderie among users in the community:

ℍ𝕀𝕍𝔼 𝕃𝔼𝔸ℝℕ𝔼ℝ𝕊 𝕎𝔼𝔼𝕂𝔼ℕ𝔻 𝕋ℍℝ𝔼𝔸𝔻𝕀ℕ𝔾

Generally, the idea is to thread, thread, and thread your way this weekend surrounding the topic given—which we will get to in a minute—engage with other threads by other users, and promote the spirit of engagement. It's a fun activity, and we invite you to join in.

One special comment: many users were using outsourced pictures or photographs, which is not forbidden if the member shares the source of the image.

For last week's topic, "*** What's that one animal that you would never take as a pet, even if you were given the easiest opportunity?*** " We had a number of entries and we there are a few that we would like to highlight and reward, just like we mentioned in our announcement post last weekend. Many interesting entries about different animals that people would avoid.

Winners

@jhymi

...complained about the possibility of having a reptile in any form as a pet. The user also said that a friend has a lizard and the way how the forked tongue bothers her is too much. The user shared a picture of a lizard that is on top of a human knee? Hopefully it isn’t her friend. We totally understand the user. Find the thread here.

@fashtioluwa

…mentioned about some arab countries that allows different types of animals and how it can be a great experience for the user. Probably he was mentioning the UAE but now tigers and lions are forbidden. Anyways, he mentioned that he wouldn’t have a lion as a pet. Probably he would have fear of having his life threatened by this big feline.. Find the thread here.

@kushyzee

…showed us how he respects snakes and he wouldn’t have them as a pet. He cited in a threadstorm how he fear boa constrictors since they have a big strenght to kill their prey. The user also said that he even prefer crocodiles to snakes. We agree that either are a good choice for a pet. But indeed snakes are animals to be respected as far as possible. Find the threadstorm here.

All of the above winners will receive 1 HBD each. Now it's time to announce the other most engaging threads that will receive $10 LEO each—in no particular order. Instead of five, we have only three as there were not that many participants the last time. Notwithstanding, congratulations to every one of them for participating and winning the Weekend Threading!

This Week's Topic:

What's the vegetable/ fruit that can’t be forgotten in your daily meal?

Share your response and reasoning in a thread (or threadstorm, preferrably).

For whatever reasons, the few times I've participated in this contest it seems my thread got lost. Even I can't find it not to talk of the others. I guess I'm doing something wrong.

Also, I do struggle to upload pictures on the InLeo interface.

Congratulations to everyone

Congratulations to all the winners.🎉
