In my country everyone has the right to make their decision, there is no involvement of the government and this is what has been going on since the existence of the country, everyone plans their family the way they want and that is why we are overpopulated in my country.
Nigeria is one of the countries with has much population and for this reason the economy doesn't circulate, despite our mineral resources because we are overpopulated and there will be inequality in providing for the well-being of the citizens, we are ignorant of family planning and this led to the economy Crisis in the country.
You can decide on how many kids you want and the age distance between them, since the government is not the one feeding them then we all have a choice and right to our opinions.
There is nothing government can do about this situation, it is our choice and everyone is an adult here in my country unlike other countries that their government makes sure to protect the citizens and the freedom of each family through monthly allowances, here in my country if you do not work you can not eat.
There is no more public education like before because those schools we called public are now paying an equal amount with people in private schools, should we consider that as government helping the poor or making them stronger?
At least people have the way they give birth now, it is not as bad as the older generation where a mother can give birth to 11 children, to survive will now be an issue, most of these people can not afford three square meals but they prefer to be sleeping in one room where bedbugs and cockroach are their roommates.
People are now controlling the way they give birth in this generation because you have to make proper planning for your children even before they are born, try to figure out your income in a month and how to manage it till the next one comes, proper planning is what everyone is looking at in this generation because the economy isn't funny anymore.
Government can never control or regulate childbearing in this country, people in the northern part of the country can never regulate it at all, civilization can only do this for us in the country, some men can marry four to five wives in the northern part of the country and each wife can give birth to 5 children or more, can the government stop them from giving birth? No.
In northern part of the country they believed in using their children for farming and I believe it is working for them because each child needs to cater to him or herself not everyone who gives birth to a child knows the value of it.
If the government tried to initiate the control of childbearing in this country it would never work, I know the economy is enough to put us in check, now that the prices of goods have skyrocketed, now tripled of what we were buying before, most people will sit tight and think on how to manage the little they have.
Since the government doesn't have plans to cater for the citizens then they have no right to control or regulate childbearing, you give birth according to the way you can manage your income or make the decision on your own there should be no government involvement and I am sure that it can never happen in my country, we still have some people who are not educated and never know how to control the way they give birth because they always believe that childbearing is God's gift and they are still wallowing in poverty.
The economy will regulate childbearing by force in this country, people of this generation now give birth to either one or two children, nothing like five even four, the maximum you can have now is 3 for people who are educated and also know what they are doing, people who value education and making enough money for their family upkeep, the people in this generation are now controlling the way they give birth and the age distance between the children.
The government has no business in planning our lives, we control the number of kids we wish to have based on individual choices because the government has no plan to take care of us as a Citizen.

The environment in which people live greatly influences the number of children they have. It is natural for people in rural areas to have more children, but if there is no government intervention to control this, there may be negative consequences in the future.
But everyone has the right to their opinion, but this generation knows how to control it through the economy now 😂
Since the government is not the one to care for the kids we give birth to is more reason we should only give birth to the number of kids we know our finances can handle.
That is what is happening now but people in the north doesn't care about regulation or economy

Many times the number of children will vary depending on the country we live in and the cultures, but good family planning must be done before making the decision to have children and how many children we can afford to have.
We are the ones to make plans, not the government. We should always know the number of Children we can cater to with the money we are earning.
My dear you are right, I do not support the idea of the involvement of the government because our economy is regulating it for us now.
Population in controlling manner is blessing as they only participate on the development but over population or people more then the resources are burden.

When you said there’s nothing the government can do about it, it reminded me of the movie “what happened to Monday”. The government can do something about it but I just think maybe their approach won’t be the best……

The government can do something about it when they have proper planning for the citizens but without that I'm not sure it will be possible to achieve.
There is a lot to think about, yet there are those who overlook these details and it is one of the reasons why there is so much helplessness.
