These were photos I took when we attended a wedding a few day back.
When it's time to load up the children and the wife, we all pile into this shuttlebus. It's the same one you find at airports, retirement homes and churches. It's spacious enough as it's configured now to hold our entire family +1, that is 9 total. That +1 is for new baby coming in a few months. If we put in the extra seats, it can fit 15 total, which is our entire family +5.
The side door opens wide making it easy to load everyone up for a ride. All the children have their own spots, including the car seats for the little ones.
I never thought I would be a bus driver, but here I am. Bussing my big 'ol family around for events.
At current gas prices (about $3.50 USD/gallon on a good day), it costs about $0.40 / mile, which makes a Sunday drive to visit family for diner round trip about $10.00 of fuel. But what's $10 anymore?
No complaining. Just enjoying a comfortable ride with my family, a spacious vehicle that the children find to be very fun to ride in.
And it's nice that daddy and mommy get to sit together in the front. Extra special!
