Greetings to all walkers, today I want to share a long walk I had with my 6 year old son, through some streets of Caracas and that ended with an incredible sunset.
Saludos a todos los caminantes, hoy quiero compartir una caminata larga que tuve con mi hijo de 6 años, por algunas calles de Caracas y que terminó con un increíble atardecer.
We started walking through a sector of Caracas called La Candelaria, here this area is known for having mostly many small buildings and is generally an area full of European immigrants, especially Canary Islanders and Spaniards, so it is full of restaurants and locals of these people who came many years ago to Venezuela and today are part of our community.
Comenzamos caminando por un sector de Caracas llamado la Candelaria, acá esta zona es conocida por tener en su mayoría muchos edificios pequeños y por lo general es una zona llena de inmigrantes europeos, especialmente Canarios y españoles, por eso está llena de restaurantes y de locales de estas personas que vinieron hace muchos años a Venezuela y que hoy forman parte de nuestra comunidad.
Further on, 20 minutes away is another completely different parish called San Agustin and its people are mostly from Miranda and Nueva Esparta, other Venezuelan states. It is a community known for its cultural richness, full of musicians, salsa lovers and sports professionals.
Más adelante a 20 minutos está otra parroquia completamente distinta llamada San Agustín y en su mayoría su gente es de Miranda y Nueva Esparta, otros estados de Venezuela, es una comunidad conocida por su riqueza cultural, llena de músicos, amantes de la salsa y profesionales del deporte.
Dentro de este sector hay casitas humildes y edificios y es lo que en mi país se conoce como barrio.
Within this sector there are humble houses and buildings and is what in my country is known as a neighborhood.
The photos are not taken with a professional camera but with my mobile device but I think it perfectly captured the beauty of this sunset.
Las fotos no son tomadas con una cámara profesional sino con mi dispositivo móvil pero creo que captó perfectamente la belleza de este atardecer.
