Some of you were curious how my newest image was made. So here´s a little making of. Since I don't have that much time at the moment, I used every free minutes to work on my little Mushroom Man sculpture.. As usual the first step is to build a raw wire skeleton. This wrapped in tin foil makes almost the shape I need for the sculpture. Applying the airdrying clay - the body is ready. I always make the head in an extra process step. This time, the eyes are made of little glass beads.
Einige von euch waren neugierig, wie mein neuestes Bild entstanden ist. Hier also ein kleines Making Of. Da ich im Moment nicht so viel Zeit habe, habe ich jede freie Minute genutzt, um an meiner kleinen Pilzmann Skulptur zu arbeiten. Der erste Schritt ist wie üblich der Aufbau eines Drahtskeletts. Dieses in Alufolie eingewickelt ergibt schon fast die Form, die ich für die Skulptur brauche. Darauf den lufttrocknenden Ton modelliert - und der Körper ist fertig. Den Kopf mache ich immer in einem extra Arbeitsschritt. Diesmal bestehen die Augen aus kleinen Glasperlen.

Before I painted few brownish shades that you can see in the picture before, we played hide and seek at our house.
Bevor ich einige bräunliche Schattierungen hinzugefügt hatte, die man auf dem Bild vorher sehen kann, haben wir bei uns zu Hause ein wenig Verstecken gespielt.

Then the serious part began: I brought him where he belongs, in the forest. Here we made a quick photoshooting before I had get back to my little children. But he was modelling in a very professional way, so that was no problem.
Dann begann der ernste Teil: Ich habe ihn dorthin gebracht, wo er hingehört, nämlich in den Wald. Hier machten wir ein kurzes Fotoshooting, bevor ich wieder bei meinen kleinen Kindern sein musste. Aber er modelte sehr professionell, das war also kein Problem.

Here you can see one of the pictures I made with my Canon - this one is completely out of the box. I applied some color effects and made few little changes in Photoshop like adding a texture, but if you compare with the final pictures above - it´s not a lot. I hope you enjoyed this little insight!
Hier gibt es noch eines der Bilder, die ich mit meiner Canon gemacht habe - dieses ist komplett out of the box. Ich habe ein paar Farbeffekte angewendet und andere kleine Änderungen in Photoshop vorgenommen, wie zum Beispiel das Hinzufügen einer Textur, aber wenn man die endgültigen Bilder oben vergleicht, ist das nicht viel. Ich hoffe dieser kleine Einblick hat euch gefallen!

This is seriously stunning. The ambiance and feelings you capture in the photo are really just amazing and for a lack of a better word "insane". True art (even photography) transfixes and transports the viewer. And here you did both (to me).
