Like camellias, they remain beautiful
It's nice to see them fall to the ground
but it is also beautiful when the petals fall
And it is also beautiful when they fade little by little
This flower is beginning to fall
and the petals are shriveling up
But it still has a certain elegance
Until it's all gone
Blooming hard until it's all gone

散り初めの花も美しい
椿のようにきれいなまま
ぽろりと地面に落ちるのもいいけれど
ぱらぱらと花びらが散ったり
少しずつしぼんでいくのも美しい
この花も散り始めて
花びらが縮れてきた
それでもまだ品がある
すっかり散り果てるまで
懸命に咲く花
