Sometimes, in order to practice a little in certain color solutions, I make copies of various paintings by famous and not-so-famous artists. Not in order to get some benefit, and not at all in order to pass off other people's ideas as your own. It's just that I'm always interested in tracing the path that the author took when creating a particular work of art.
In this painting, I did not use acrylic, as in the original of this work, but used gouache, and I did it in a manner peculiar to myself. I prepared several colors of this paint in advance, mixing them with whitewash in small jars. At the same time, gouache in such works acquires fantastic brightness and it can even be painted in wet technique, as when using watercolors. The effect is very interesting.
Иногда для того, чтобы немного попрактиковаться в тех или иных цветовых решениях, я делаю копии разных картин известных и не очень известных художников. Не для того, чтобы получить какую-то выгоду, и совсем не для того, чтобы выдать чужие идеи за свои. Просто мне всегда интересно проследить тот путь, которым шёл автор при создании того или иного художественного произведения.
В данной картине я не использовал акрил, как в оригинале этой работы, а применил гуашь, причём сделал это в свойственной для себя манере. Я заранее приготовил несколько колеров этой краски, намешав их с белилами в небольших баночках. При этом гуашь в таких работах приобретает фантастическую яркость и ею даже можно писать в мокрой технике, как при использовании акварели. Эффект получается очень интересным.
