We also had fun drawing the Rolls Royce in the last panel, the best car in the world at the time!

I guess you need a bit of research to get the period details right. Someone will complain if you don't. It does bump up the budget when you come to make the movie :)

Haha so true, part of what appealed to me about comics in the first places was that the budget was the same if it was a slice of life story in the suburbs or if it was a galactic space epic - but now that I have dreams of a future HBO adaptation, making a multiversal alien 1920's period piece may hold me back XD
