Our psychological interrogation continues! This scene really was gripping to me as I wrote it because the power dynamic shifts and flows so quickly.
Chuck is a cop and Ezekiel is an arrested cultist strapped to a bed, normally this wouldn't phase Ezekiel since he has a manic devotion to his cult leader, Weaver(Rupert) - Ezekiel knows magic is real and he believes he is beyond the reach of silly mortal laws. Things get scary for Ezekiel when Chuck starts to let on that he knows about magic, knows about Rot.
The power dynamic shifts again on the next two pages when Chuck overplays his hand slightly. Tune in to see how that goes!
