Hello dear friends, today is Friday and it is time to share with you my participation in the weekly Splinterlands 293 contest, on this occasion I participate with the card Torhilo the Frozen, I had not drawn a bull before, so I took advantage of this opportunity. Another aspect that I liked about this card is that the figure looks like Swarovski style crystal, these are cut glass figures that are beautiful and have very nice light reflections. I have painted the drawing following this style a bit, mixing it with its original design. I hope you like the video.
Hola queridos amigos, ya hoy es viernes y es momento de compartir con ustedes mi participacipación en el concurso semanal de Splinterlands 293,en esta oportunidad participo con la carta Torhilo the Frozen, no había dibujado algún toro antes, así que aproveché esta oportunidad. Otro aspecto que me gustó de esta carta es que la figura parece de cristal estilo Swarovski, son esas figuras de vidrio cortado que son hermosas y tienen reflejo de luz muy bonitos. He pintado el dibujo siguiendo un poco este estilo mezclándolo con su diseño original. Espero les guste el video.

I chose black cardboard for the drawing, since I really like to draw in this background color, I feel that the drawings have more life and it is easier to achieve volume. Here you can see how to start the drawing, I only made some oval figures which I then shaped with lines to make the sketch.
Elegí para el dibujo, cartulina de color negro, ya que me gusta mucho dibujar en este color de fondo, siento que los dibujos tienen más vida y es más fácil lograr volumen. Aquí pueden observar como para comenzar el dibujo, solo hice unas figuras ovaladas a las cuales luego le voy dando forma con líneas para ir haciendo el boceto.

Next, when I finish the sketch I begin to fill the drawing inside to give it shape and volume. In this case I use white wax color to fill in, and white charcoal to mark the most intense lines. The light reflections can be seen more intensely in some areas, and with white charcoal I intend to create that effect.
Seguidamente, al terminar el boceto comienzo a rellenar el dibujo en su interior para darle forma y volumen. en este caso utilizo color blanco de cera para rellenar, y el carboncillo blanco para marcar las líneas más intensas. Los reflejos de la luz pueden verse más intensamente en algunas zonas, y con el carboncillo blanco pretendo hacer ese efecto.

Now I start to contrast it with different colors, I use turquoise green, light blue, purple and navy blue. I mix them in different places to try to give it that glass effect. In the same way, with white charcoal I continue to accentuate the areas of light reflections more.
Ahora comienzo a darle contraste con colores diferente, utilizo verde turquesa, color azul claro, púrpura y azul marino. Los mezclo en diferentes lugares para intentar darle ese efecto del vidrio. De la misma forma, con el carboncillo blanco sigo acentuando más las zonas de reflejos de luz.

This is how my fanart of the Torhilo the Frozen card turned out, I think it turned out realistic, and with what I mentioned before about the dark cardboard, I think it is a plus that helps a lot to achieve this result. I really like that you drew on black paper, it's something I've wanted to try for a while. I think the shine and reflection give more the sensation of a metallic body, but in the same way I think that you did a very good job.
Don't think about it too much, try it soon, you'll like it, you won't want to go back to conventional colored paper
