Hello Alien Art and Splinterlands community, I wish you a good start of the week. Today I bring you the design of Vulguine, a card that I loved for its wolf theme and Japanese style background. The design consists of a digitally generated wolf with the background removed. I then focused on detailing his fur using a textured feather and proceeded to highlight part of his tail with a fire effect. In addition, I added layers with uniform red tones to highlight the details of his face.

Hoy les traigo el diseño de Vulguine, una carta que me encantó por su temática de lobo y su estilo japonés en el fondo. El diseño consta de un lobo generado digitalmente al que le eliminé el fondo. Luego me enfoqué en detallar su pelaje utilizando una pluma texturizada y procedí a resaltar parte de su cola con un efecto de fuego. Además, añadí capas con tonos rojos uniformes para resaltar los detalles de su rostro.
The design process began with the selection of a base image of a wolf, which I then manipulated to remove the background and leave only the wolf in the composition. Once this was done, I started working on the details of the fur. I used a textured pen to simulate the realistic look of the wolf's fur, adding depth and volume to the image.
El proceso de diseño comenzó con la selección de una imagen base de un lobo, la cual posteriormente manipulé para eliminar el fondo y dejar únicamente al lobo en la composición. Una vez hecho esto, comencé a trabajar en los detalles del pelaje. Utilicé una pluma texturizada para simular el aspecto realista del pelaje del lobo, añadiendo profundidad y volumen a la imagen.
To highlight the wolf's tail, I decided to add a fire effect. I used layers of red and yellow tones to create the effect of the flames, taking care to maintain a natural and realistic look. This helped to highlight the tail and add a dynamic and eye-catching element to the design.
Para destacar la cola del lobo, decidí agregar un efecto de fuego. Utilicé capas de tonos rojos y amarillos para crear el efecto de las llamas, cuidando de mantener una apariencia natural y realista. Esto ayudó a resaltar la cola y agregar un elemento dinámico y llamativo al diseño.
As for the details of the wolf's face, I worked with layers of uniform colours in shades of red. This allowed me to highlight the distinctive features of the wolf, such as his eyes and facial expression. In addition, I added some light and shadow effects to give more depth and realism to the design.
En cuanto a los detalles del rostro del lobo, trabajé con capas de colores uniformes en tonos rojos. Esto me permitió resaltar las características distintivas del lobo, como sus ojos y su expresión facial. Además, añadí algunos efectos de luz y sombra para darle más profundidad y realismo al diseño.
The background of the design was also important. I opted for a Japanese style to complement the wolf theme. I used elements such as trees, stylised structures to create a suggestive and mysterious atmosphere around the wolf. These elements also helped to frame the wolf and highlight its presence in the composition.
As for the technique used, I worked mainly with digital image editing tools, such as Photoshop. The combination of layers, effects and textures allowed me to create a detailed design that captures the essence of the wolf in a Japanese style.
El fondo del diseño también fue importante. Opté por un estilo japonés que complementara la temática del lobo. Utilicé elementos como árboles, estructuras estilizadas para crear un ambiente sugerente y misterioso alrededor del lobo. Estos elementos también ayudaron a enmarcar al lobo y resaltar su presencia en la composición.
En cuanto a la técnica utilizada, trabajé principalmente con herramientas de edición de imágenes digitales, como Photoshop. La combinación de capas, efectos y texturas me permitió crear un diseño detallado que captura la esencia del lobo en un estilo japonés.
